MITCHELL — Harrisburg took the long road to Sunday’s Class A title game after surviving three elimination games in two days.

The Hops scored nine runs in the top of the eighth inning to hold on to a 15-10 win over Brookings.

Harrisburg will meet Renner in the Class A title game at noon.

Ian Strum had four hits to lead the Hops while Charlie Dubanoski, Drue Soukup, Josh Kunzmann added three hits each.

Kalib Mauch picked up the win, pitching five innings, giving up eight runs on seven hits. He struck out five and walked four.

Chase McDaniel led the Cubs with three hits.

Harrisburg defeated Baltic 18-0 in six innings to advance to play Brookings.
