The Custer Wildcats lead the Class A girls track and field race with 39 points, just ahead of Sioux Falls Christian (38.50) and Red Cloud (22). 

The Wildcats used a discus title from Kellyn Kortemeyer (165-11) and a second-place finish from Ramsey Karim in the 3,200 meter run. Alice Sedlacek finished 4th in the discus (119-6) and Ciana Stiefel finished 2nd in the pole vault (11-0). 

Sioux Falls Christian scored points today with Anna Vyn finishing 2nd in the 800-meter run (2:18.88) and Savaeh Sichmeller finishing 3rd in the high-jump (5-2). 

Red Cloud’s Jade Ecoffey repeated as champion in the 3,200 meter run (11:09.26) while Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal won a second consecutive title in the high jump (5-7).

Dakota Valley’s Sophia Atchison won the pole vault (11-0) while Mt. Vernon/Plankinton’s 

Berkeley Engelland won the 800-meter run. Engelland had the fastest qualifying time in the 400-meter dash (56.63) and the No. 2 qualifying time  in the 200-meter dash (:26.28).
