Gregory County 14, Valentine (Neb.) 4

GREGORY — Gregory County scored seven runs in the second inning and never looked back as it defeated Valentine (Neb.) in a Legion baseball game on Wednesday.

Brogan Glover took the win for Gregory County, lasting five innings and allowing one hit and four runs while striking out six.

Gregory County totaled 11 hits, with Gannon Thomas leading the way with four hits in four at bats. Thomas also drove in three runs. Bryce Frank had three hits and drove in five runs. Owen Duffy, Trey Murray, and Carsen Klundt each drove in two runs.

Drew McIntosh took the loss for Valentine, pitching three innings and allowing eight hits and nine runs while striking out one. McIntosh also led Valentine with one hit in three at bats.


Spearfish Post 164 12, Casper (Wyo.) 0

SPEARFISH — Spearfish Post 164 earned a shutout victory over Casper (Wyo.) in a Legion baseball game on Wednesday.

Hogan Trystad took the win for Post 164, pitching six innings, while allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out 12.

Kaidon Feyereisen led Post 164 with two hits in three at bats, while also driving in five runs. Feyereisen also had one home run. Carter Lyon had two RBI’s.


Casper (Wyo.) 8, Spearfish Post 164 6

SPEARFISH — Casper (Wyo.) edged Spearfish Post 164 in a Legion baseball game on Wednesday.

For Spearfish Post 164, Cody Chapman took the loss on the mound, allowing ten hits and seven runs while striking out three in four innings.

Kaidon Feyereisen, Braden Ericks, Brady Hartwig, Ty Sieber, Noah Mollman, and Aiden Haught each had one hit for Post 164. Haught drove in two runs to lead Post 164.


Post 15 East 10, Pierre Post 8 2

PIERRE — Post 15 East powered past Pierre Post 8 for a Legion baseball win on Wednesday.

Chase Houselog earned the win for Post 15 East, allowing six hits and two runs in 6 ⅓ innings, while striking out eight.

Post 15 East racked up 11 hits, including Ethan Bruns and Jack Smith with three hits apiece. Bruns and Smith also tallied four RBI’s each. Sawyer Tolk and Jack Nesje each had two hits.

Jayden Wiebe took the loss for Pierre Post 8, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out three in 5 ⅓ innings.

Post 8 had six hits on the day, led by Lincoln Kienholz and Gary Nedved with two hits apiece. Kienholz and Nedved also drove in one run each.


Post 15 East 10, Pierre Post 8 0

PIERRE — Post 15 East raced past Pierre Post 8 in a Legion baseball game on Wednesday.

Lincoln Vasgaard took the win for Post 15 East, going six innings, while allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out five.

Dylan Rippentrop and Gage Sharping each had two hits to lead Post 15 East. Andrew Glovich and Tate Schafer each drove in three runs, while Sharping drove in two runs.

Isaac Polak took the loss for Pierre Post 8, lasting 4 ⅓ innings while allowing six runs on five hits and striking out two.

Lincoln Kienholz, Jayden Wiebe, and Grayson Hunsley each had one hit to lead Pierre Post 8.


5 Points Bank 12, Brandon Valley Post 131 3

OMAHA — 5 Points Bank scored nine runs in the fourth inning to pull away from Brandon Valley Post 131 for a Legion baseball win on Wednesday.

Daeton Espino picked up the win for 5 Points Bank, giving up three runs on two hits in five innings, while striking out two.

Nick Conant led 5 Points Bank with three hits in four at bats.

Logan Kelling took the loss for Post 131, allowing six hits and six runs in three innings, while striking out two.

Tayton Stroh and Dawson Mork each had one hit to lead Post 131. Stroh also drove in two runs.


Post 1 11, Dakota Valley Post 319 1

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Post 1 raced past Dakota Valley Post 319 for a Legion baseball win on Wednesday.

Tim Dixon was the winning pitcher for Post 1, allowing five hits and zero runs in five innings, while striking out two.

Willis Robertson led Post 1 with three hits in four at bats, while T.J. Tracy had two hits and drove in four runs. Robertson also drove in two runs.

Brayden Major took the loss for Dakota Valley Post 131, going 2 ⅓ innings and allowing one hit and four runs while striking out four.

Ashton Pick led Post 319 with two hits in three at bats.


Lincoln East Carpet Land (Neb.) 10, Watertown Post 17 2

LINCOLN, NEB. — Lincoln East Carpet Land flew past Watertown Post 17 for a Legion baseball win on Wednesday.

Aidan Johnson took the win for Lincoln East Carpet Land, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out six in five innings.

Tanner Peterson, Ryan Clementi, Carter Mick, and Garrett Springer each had two hits for Lincoln East Carpet Land.

Andrew Czech took the loss for Watertown Post 17, allowing seven hits and six runs in three innings, while striking out one.

Post 17 was led by Drew Denzer, Braedon Zaug, and Will Engstrom with one hit each. Engstrom and Denzer each drove in one run.
