Miller 3, Chamberlain 0

CHAMBERLAIN — Miller swept Chamberlain for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-11, and 25-14.

Miller’s Jaden Werdel led with eight kills, five digs, and two aces, while Tricia Lammers and Aleah Schlechter each had seven kills. Abbi Blake had five kills and seven digs, while Tyra Gates tallied 29 assists and five digs. Jolie Palmer had 19 digs, while Ruby Carder added four aces.

Chamberlain stats were not reported. 


Colman-Egan 3, Howard 1

COLMAN — Colman-Egan picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Howard on Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-13, 25-21, and 25-19.

Colman-Egan’s Kadance Landis and Elaina Rhode each had 11 kills, while Rhode also had five blocks. Daniela Lee had eight kills, 25 digs, and five blocks, while Abby Rhode tallied six kills and three blocks. Ava Mousel logged 13 digs and eight assists, while Lanie Mousel had 16 assists and seven blocks. Berkeley Groos had 11 digs, while Kaylee Voelker added 14 digs.

Howard’s Kate Connor tallied 19 kills and four blocks, while Piper Thompson had eight kills and 12 digs. Abby Aslesen logged seven kills, while Landree Callies had six kills and six digs. Tana Hoyer had 16 digs and 30 assists, while Canyon Kidd added 12 digs.

ALEXANDRIA — Class A No. Wagner swept Hanson in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-16, and 25-16.

Wagner’s Emma Yost tallied 14 kills and nine digs, while Shona Kocer had eight kills and five blocks. Avari Bruguier had six kills and seven digs, while Macy Koupal logged 28 assists and 14 digs. Kya Kjeldgaard and Shalayne Nagel each had five kills, while Nagel added six digs. Madi Knebel adde six digs.

Hanson’s Annalyse Weber had five kills, while Kate Haiar and Kylie Haiar each had three kills. Jersey Kampshoff logged nine digs, while Claire Bridge and Cadence Jarding had seven and five digs, respectively. Jalyn Kampshoff added 14 assists.


Platte-Geddes 3, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 0

PLATTE — Class A No. 5 Platte-Geddes swept Mount Vernon/Plankinton in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 26-24, and 25-18.

PG’s Karly VanDerWerff led with 16 kills and 13 digs, while also recording her 1,000th dig. Cadence VanZee recorded 12 kills, 11 digs, and five aces, while also recording her 1,000th kill. Regan Hoffman tallied 10 kills, 12 digs, and three aces, while Avery DeVries logged 33 assists and nine digs. Baleigh Nachtigal had 10 digs, while Hadley Hanson added six digs.

MVP’s Reagan Rus recorded five kills and one ace, while Clara Fink tallied 12 digs and six assists. Vanessa Hoffman had seven assists, while Cally Faulhaber added three blocks.


Madison 3, Parker 1

PARKER — Madison earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Parker on Tuesday. The set scores were 23-25, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-12.

Madison’s Adurey Nelson led with 17 kills, 11 digs, and two blocks, while Amanda Vacanti tallied 11 kills, 17 assists, six aces, and three three digs. Megan Schouwenburg logged 11 kills, while Karley Theede had 21 assists and six digs. Maycee Theede had 12 digs and six aces, while Cadence Zens had nine digs. Callie McDermott added five digs and seven aces.

Parker’s Terryn Fuller led with nine kills, 13 assists, 10 digs, and two aces, while Halle Berens had six kills and 28 digs. Jenna VanVelzen, Natalie Haase, Clara Montero, and Shelby Pankratz each had three kills. Meah Wright had 10 assists and three aces, while Hailey Phillips had 14 digs. Aspen Rand added 16 digs.

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids swept McCook Central/Montrose in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21, and 25-17.

Dell Rapids was led by Lauryn Kloth with 11 kills, while Sophi Randall tallied nine kills, 26 assists, 19 digs, two blocks, and two aces. Lexi Ingalls had 12 digs, while Kylee Fiddelke added two aces.

MCM’s Tayah McGregor had seven kills, while Brandy Pulse tallied five kills and nine digs. Aubree Kranz logged 15 digs and two aces, while Brianna Even had 13 assists. Mady Lauck had seven assists, while Kayla Vander Woude added four blocks.


Chester Area 3, Deubrook Area 0

WHITE — Class B No. 2 Chester Area swept Deubrook Area in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-16, and 25-12.

Chester Area’s Jacy Wolf, Serena Larson, and Lily VanHal each had eight kills. Wolf also had 20 assists and two aces, while VanHal also had 13 assists. Emmerson Eppard had two aces and one block, while Emery Larson tallied 26 digs. Katelynn Huntimer added 19 digs.

Deubrook Area’s Miranda Moravetz tallied seven kills and 12 digs, while Kyarra Blum had five kills. Brooke Koppatschek logged four kills, six assists, and one ace, while Ellie Koenig had seven assists and one ace. Delaney Pedersen logged 19 digs, while Madalyn Bauman added six assists.

MELLETTE — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Redfield in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scorers were 25-18, 27-25, and 25-20.

Northwestern’s Ella Haven led with 17 kills, 16 digs, and four aces, while Ashley Haven had 16 kills, 13 digs, two blocks, and one ace. Brooklinn Halvorson logged 34 assists and seven kills, while Payton Grandpre tallied 13 digs. Tara Blachford added two aces.

Redfield’s Gracie Fast had seven kills and three aces, while Katie Rozell had seven kills and five blocks. Camryn Rohlfs and Chloe Zens had 10 digs, while Marie Weller added three aces.

FAULKTON — Faulkton Area swept Langford Area in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-6, 25-5, and 25-12.

Faulkton Area’s Kelli Stoecker led with 10 kills, while Addison Melius tallied eight kills, 15 digs, and five aces. Carley Cotton had six kills and eight digs. Gabby Kast had 33 assists and three aces, while Trisha Cramer added two aces.

Langford Area’s Tawnee Nelson had 11 digs and one ace, while Cali Vander Vorst had nine digs. Eliana Darling had five blocks, while Bryanna Peterson added two blocks.


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

MILLER — Hitchcock-Tulare def. Sunshine Bible Academy in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-16, and 25-15.

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Rebecca Huizenga tallied nine kills, while Isabel Gilbert had seven kills. Brooklyn Frankenstein led with seven digs, while Ella Johnson had six digs and seven aces. Presley Binger and Gracyn Bixler had 14 and 13 assists, respectively.

SBA was led by Sadie Konechne with two kills and one ace, while Kennedy Keck had two aces. Abby Hinman added two digs.


Highmore-Harrold 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 1

HIGHMORE — Highmore-Harrold picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday. The set scores were 22-25, 26-24, 25-14, and 25-23.

Highmore-Harrold was led by Brooke Palmer with 14 kills, while Reghan Westcott had 10 kills. Brooklyn Baloun tallied 31 assists and two aces, while Kendall Cermak added four aces.

SCW’s Kenna Ochsner led with 16 kills, 21 digs, and three aces, while Kailynn Eggleston had eight kills. Bella Fry had 18 digs, while Kam Ochsner had three aces. Bailey Feistner and Kenlie Fridley had 16 and 15 assists, respectively.


Florence/Henry 3, Groton Area 1

GROTON — Florence/Henry earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Groton Area on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-15, 25-22, and 25-18.

Florence/Henry was led by Caylin Kelly with 22 kills, four blocks, and two aces, while Trinity Watson had 11 kills and five blocks. Taylor Watson had 30 digs, while Karli Sharp had 20 digs and two aces. Reese Schmidt added 36 assists.

WAUBAY — Webster Area picked up a high school volleyball win over Waubay/Summit on Tuesday. The set scores were 14-25, 25-14, 25-19, and 25-20.

Waubay/Summit’s Kylee Marx led with nine kills and two aces, while Liza Purdy tallied six kills and ten digs. Ava Breske and Katie Karst had four and three kills, respectively.

EAGLE BUTTE — Mobridge-Pollock swept Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-8, 25-12, and 25-7.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Emma Keller led with seven kills, 18 assists, and nine aces, while Raelyn Aberle led with nine digs. Ryli Thompson had five kills and three digs, while Reagan Weisbeck had eight digs. Charley Henderson led with 11 kills, while Katy Kemnitz added nine assists and four aces. SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian outlasted Western Christian, Iowa for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-19, 21-25, 16-25, and 15-13.

SFC was led by Sidney Oostra with 13 kills, 10 digs, and four aces. Peyton Poppema tallied 13 kills, nine digs, and six blocks, while Ellie Lems recorded 12 kills, seven digs, and five blocks.
