ABERDEEN — The Class B boys basketball tournament continues to be a hit. 

The 2024 Class B boys basketball tournament generated $174,320 in gate receipts, according to South Dakota High School Activities Association Assistant Executive Director Jo Auch. 

The 2024 figure continues a trend of successful gate receipts since the tournament’s been in Aberdeen. 

It’s been in Aberdeen since 1995 and gate receipts have topped more than $100,000 multiple times during the 29-year run.
