 Clark/Willow Lake girls, Deuel boys win Northeast Conference cross-country titles
Clark/Willow Lake's Kamryn Nesheim won the individual title and helped her team claim the Northeast Conference championship on Thursday.

WEBSTER — The Clark/Willow Lake girls and Deuel boys ran to Northeast Conference titles Thursday at the Webster Golf Course.

The Clark/Willow Lake girls totalled 23 points, ahead of Milbank (32) and Deuel (47). The Deuel boys scored 19 points, well ahead of Milbank (23) and Clark/Willow Lake (69). 

Clark/Willow Lake’s Kamryn Nesheim won the girls race with a time of 20:29, ahead of Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan (20:44) and Milbank’s Ashlynn Batchelor (20:58). Clark/Willow Lake’s Faith Roehrich (21:25) and Aberdeen Central’s Addisyn Casserdy (21:12) rounded out the top-five finishers.

Milbank’s Bryan Meyer covered the 5,000-meter course in 18:07, ahead of Deuel’s Tyson Hagberg (18:21) and Sisseton’s Ryder Graff (18:35). Deuel teammates Sutton Benck (18:50) and Caden Hourigan (18:50) rounded out the top-five boys finishers.
