 Webster boys, Clark/Willow Lake have strong outings at CWL Cyclone Invite

CLARK — A strong day across the board Tuesday for the Webster Area boys track team. 

Gavin Witt won the 100 meter dash (:11.46), Martin Dorsett won the 200 meter dash (:24.44). Both sophomores were part of the Bearcats winning 4x200 meter relay (1:35.21) with Witt running a leg on the winning 1,600 meter relay team.

Great Plains Lutheran’s RJ Perry won the shot put (44-10) and discus (125-8). 

Clark/Willow Lake’s Owen Speiker won the 110-meter hurdles (:19.46) and 300 meter hurdles (:51.01). 

Tri-State’s Kaleb Foltz won the 1,600 meter run (4:46.65) and anchored Tri-State’s winning medley relay team (3:50.28). 

Clark/Willow Lake seventh grader Kamryn Nesheim won the 1,600 meter run (5:39.84) with Johanna Vandersnick capturing the long jump (15-1). Clark/Willow Lake won the 400 meter relay (:56.13) the 3,200 meter relay (10:48.81) and the medley relay (4:51.46). 

Great Plains Lutheran’s Sophie Kannas won the 100 meter dash (:13.43) and the 200 meter dash (:28.42) and ran a leg on Great Plains Lutheran’s winning 800-meter relay (1:59.70). 

Florence/Henry had wins from Taylor Watson in the 400 meter dash (1:06.44), Trinity Watson in the 800 meter run (2:42.20). The Falcons also captured the 1,600 meter relay (4:29.24).
