SIOUX FALLS — Mitchell ran away with the team title at Monday’s Warrior Invite.

Playing at Willow Run Golf Course, the Kernels fired a 312 and finished 38 strokes ahead of second-place O’Gorman (350). Lincoln (353) and Stevens (353) tied for third place. 

Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink carded a 2-over-par 72 to earn individual medalist honors. Meyerink shot a 37 on the front nine and a 35 on the back nine. Meyerink’s back nine featured two birdies. 

She edged teammate Maddie Childs (73) for the individual title. Childs shot a 35 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine. 

Stevens’ Lauren Knapp (81) and O’Gorman’s Geneva Frederickson (81) tied for third place. Jefferson’s Faith Skelton, Mitchell’s Mia Larson and Lincoln’s Kinley Freese tied for fifth place.
