Elk Point/Jefferson 6, Dell Rapids 3

SALEM — Elk Point/Jefferson scored three seventh-inning runs to defeat Dell Rapids during the State B Legion tournament Sunday.

Keaton Gale had two hits, Brody Van Roekel and Ashton Fairbanks each drove in a run on one hit, while Grayson Girard and Jacob Gale each tallied an RBI on three walks.

Wyatt Herrity allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks in six innings to take the victory for EPJ,

For Dell Rapids, Konrad Richeal allowed four runs on two hits and seven walks in two innings.

Treyse Eastman drove in two runs on two hits and a walk, CJ Smith had an RBI on a walk, while Sutton Williams, Talan Millage, and Cooper Frost each had hits in the loss. 

Parkston 14, Groton 5

SALEM — Four different hitters collected two hits as Parkston eliminated Groton from the State B Legion tournament Sunday.

Luke Bormann, James Deckert, Kolter Kramer, and Kaden Holzbauer each tallied two hits combining for seven RBIs, including two doubles by Deckert as well as one double by Bormann and Holzbauer.

Drew Braley drove in a run on one hit and on walk, Brayden Jervik drove in a run on two walks, while Brody Boettcher drove in two runs on a walk as well.

Jervik earned the victory on the mound allowing three runs on two hits and two walks in 2.1 innings.

For Groton, Gavin Englund took the loss, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk in 2.2 innings.

Colby Dunker drove in a run on two hits and a walk, Brevin Fliehs tallied a hit, walk, and an RBI, Braxton Imrie drove in a run, while Bradin Althoff tallied a hit and two walks in the loss for Groton.

Lake Norden/Badger 7, Salem/Montrose/Canova 1

SALEM — Ryker Warrington tossed 11 strikeouts as Lake Norden/Badger eliminated Salem/Montrose/Canova during Sunday’s State B Legion tournament action.

Warrington allowed one run on two hits and three walks in a complete game on the mound.

George Jensen tallied three hits, Lane Tvedt drove in two runs on two hits, Dawson Noem, Rylan Thue, and Cristhian Rodriguez each drove in a run on one hit, including a double by Thue.

For SMC, Owen Alley took the loss allowing five runs on six hits and two walks in 6.1 innings, striking out eight batters.

Luke Koepsell tallied an RBI-single while Alley had the only other hit in the loss for SMC.
