Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 45, Dell Rapids St. Mary 43

HURON — Liz Boschee recorded a double-double as No. 6 Sanborn Central-Woonsocket took down Dell Rapids St. Mary, advancing to the State A championship game. The Blackhawks will face Bennett County in the championship at 7:45 p.m.

Boschee recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Addison Bartholow added 10 points and nine rebounds, Kaylie Robinson added nine points and 10 rebounds, while Alexa Goertz netted six points, six rebounds, and four assists in the win.

DRSM’s Jenna Miller led the Cardinals with 16 points, Brianna Griffin added 14 points and six rebounds, while Madala Hanson totaled nine points in the loss. The Cardinals will face Centerville in the third place game at 6 p.m. Saturday.


Parkston 56, Deubrook Area 52 (OT)

HURON — Keeara Oakley and Berkley Ziebart combined for 33 points as No. 4 Parkston outlasted No. 8 Deubrook in overtime in Friday’s State B consolation semifinals. The Trojans will face Lyman in the consolation championship at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Oakley led Parkston with 17 points and four rebounds while Ziebart tallied 16 points and six boards in the win. Lauren Ziebart added nine points, three rebounds and three assists, Morgan Maxwell tallied eight points while Mya Thuringer netted six points, five rebounds and three assists in the win.

DA’s Mataya Gouws led the Dolphins with a game-high 23 points and eight rebounds, Kylee Johnson and Matte Bauman each scored eight points and five rebounds, combining for five assists, while Peyton Trooien netted six points off the bench. The Dolphins will face Harding County in the seventh place game at 12 p.m. Saturday.


Lyman 57, Harding County 48

HURON — Four players reached double figures in No. 3 Lyman’s State B consolation semifinal win over Harding County Friday. The Raiders will face No. 4 Parkston in the consolation championship Saturday at 1:45 p.m.

Bree Smart led Lyman with 15 points and four rebounds, Mak Scott added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Brooke Palmer tallied 12 points and six boards while Jordyn Scott netted 11 points, four rebounds and four assists in the win.

HC’s Kamry Padden tallied 15 points, Macey Wendt netted 11 points and four rebounds, while Kaylen Padden had 11 points in the loss. The Ranchers will face No. 8 Deubrook Area in the seventh place game Saturday at 12 p.m.


Bennett County 44, Centerville 41

HURON — Peyson and Reagan O’Neill’s double-doubles powered No. 5 Centerville to an upset victory over No. 1 Centerville in Friday’s State B semifinal action. Bennett County will face Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Saturday at 7:45 p.m. in the State B championship.

Peyson O’Neill led the Warriors with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Reagan O’Neill recorded 10 points, 12 boards and three assists in the win. Harley Harris added seven points while Madi Waln and Thomiah Poor Bear each scored five points in the win.

Centerville’s Emma Marshall tallied a double-double in the loss with 15 points and 12 rebounds, Izzie Eide recorded 12 points and six rebounds, while Keira Austin netted six points in the loss. The Tornadoes will take on Dell Rapids St. Mary for third place Saturday at 6 p.m.
