KIMBALL — As the Canton C-Hawks march towards a potential eighth consecutive Class B wrestling title they have a legitimate challenger to the throne in Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes.

The two teams clashed at the McCook Central/Montrose Invitational with Canton scoring 234 points, ahead of KWLPG (220.5). Each team was missing a few wrestlers and injuries and sickness can always change the landscape of wrestling but for now the C-Hawks have some company in the race for the 2025 Class B team title.

In the week 4 wrestling poll Canton is projected to score 147 points, ahead of KWLPG (121) and Winner Area (106). Clark/Willow Lake (92) and Bon Homme/Avon (78) round out the top-five teams.
