Lyman 66, Colome 55 

PRESHO — Dawsen Volmer powered Lyman to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Volmer finished with 28 points and hit five 3-pointers. M.J. Diehm logged nine points, while Conway Collins scored six points. Jonas Zirpel, Carter Jones, Aksel Ehlers and Canyon Garnos scored five points apiece.

Colome’s Joseph Laprath finished with a game-high 29 points. Seth Heath tossed in 17 points and Jack Anderson scored six points. 


Castlewood 62, Flandreau 57

FLANDREAU — Class B No. 2 Castlewood clipped Flandreau for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Castlewood’s Jamison Keszler finished with 19 points. Bryon Laue added 16 points, while Lane Tvedt posted 13 points. Luke Baumberger posted nine points and eight rebounds. Quincy Thu had six rebounds. 

For Flandreau, Alfie Henderson tossed in 18 points. Paul Parsley logged 14 points, six rebounds and four assists. Luke Sheppard added 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists. 


Jones County 82, Stanley County 79 (OT) 

MURDO — Cooper Feddersen powered Jones County to an overtime boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Feddersen finished with 43 points and 18 rebounds. Kaden Kinsley added 15 points, while Bryer Kinsley had nine points. Asa Best logged seven points.

For Stanley County, Kaden Montana and Eddie Duffy tossed in 20 points apiece. Broch Zeeb posted 14 points. Paxton Deal and Brendon Bothwell scored nine points apiece. 


Kimball/White Lake 68, Chamberlain 35

KIMBALL — Blake Leiferman powered Kimball/White Lake to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Leiferman finished with 36 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Lantz Bass added eight points, while Nathan Mohnen added seven points and 12 boards. 


Winner 55, Bon Homme 34

WINNER — Winner picked up a boys basketball win over Bon Homme on Tuesday.

Shawn Hammerbeck paced the Warriors with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Ryder Halligan added 16 points. Carter Craven had seven points, while Aiden Barfuss posted six points and six assists. Zac Olson had four assists. 

For Bon Homme, Chapin Cooper had 11 points. Landon Schmidt scored eight points. Easton Mudder and Jace Toupal scored seven points apiece. 


Vermillion 67, Tri-Valley 57

VERMILLION — Vermillion placed four players in double figures to pace Vermillion to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen finished with 20 points, while Zoan Robinson scored 16 points. Carter Hansen added 15 points and Bryson Skogsberg posted 12 points. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 46, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 43

WOONSOCKET — A big night from Zach Baker helped Mount Vernon/Plankinton earn a win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket to earn a Tuesday night win in boys basketball. 

Baker led MVP with 29 points while Tyce Feistner led the team with eight rebounds and six assists. 

Cody Slykhuis led Sanborn Central/Woonsocket with 12 points.Trey Moody finished with nine points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Jeff Boschee added eight points for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. 


Mobridge-Pollock 77, Aberdeen Christian 61

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock used a 24-17 second quarter to pull away from Aberdeen Christian for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Unique White Twin posted 20 points, while Shane Henderson added 19 points and seven rebounds. Jackson Eisemann posted 14 points. Kale Knudson recorded nine points, while Kellen Pfitzer posted eight points and six rebounds.

For Aberdeen Christian, Joey Johnson recorded 22 points and six rebounds. Ellis Russell and Konnar Furman scored 10 points apiece. Russell added seven rebounds and Furman posted five rebounds. Becker Bosma had seven points and five boards. 


Wagner 60, Menno 28

MENNO — Three players scored in double figures to pace Wagner to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Wagner’s Preston McFayden finished with 18 points, three rebounds and three steals. Carter Cournoyer posted 12 points and 12 rebounds. Parker Petry logged 12 points and three rebounds.

For Menno, Isaac Fergen logged 11 points and three rebounds. Izayah Ulmer scored five points. Trent Guthmiller finished with nine rebounds and four points. 


Timber Lake 61, Herreid/Selby Area 47

TIMBER LAKE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Timber Lake to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Timber Lake’s Tristan Dupris finished with 19 points, while Gracen Hansen posted 16 points. Cole Ducheneaux had 11 points. Kyler Bollinger scored six points and Kanton Hunt added five points. 


Baltic 54, Elkton-Lake Benton 34

ELKTON — Baltic pulled away from Elkton-Lake Benton for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Baltic’s Jack Erickson posted 22 points, while Ben Erickson and Mark Ditter scored nine points apiece. Kellen Artz added seven points. 

For ELB, Carson Griffith finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Colt Beck added eight points. Tanner Drietz recorded seven points. Blake DeVries finished with 10 rebounds. 


De Smet 54, Deuel 39

CLEAR LAKE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 1 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

De Smet’s Kadyn Fast finished with 14 points. Tom Aughenbaugh and Grant Wilkinson scored 10 points apiece. Wilkinson had four rebounds. George Jensen had seven points and five rebounds. Trace VanRegenmorter had six points and seven rebounds. Britt Carlson scored five points and five boards. 

For Deuel, Trey Maaland posted 19 points, five steals and four rebounds. Troy Jenson scored eight points and Gabe Sather had five points and eight rebounds. 


Chester 74, McCook Central/Montrose 51

CHESTER — Chester used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Chester’s Jovi Wolf finished with 22 points and three steals. Layke Wold added 21 points and five assists. Jaxton Opdahl had 21 points. J.D. Prorok had 11 rebounds and three steals. 

For MCM, Ben Wiebersick finished with 16 points. Jackson Schmidt and Ty Morrison scored 10 points apiece. 


Howard 70, Colman-Egan 38

HOWARD — Howard pulled away from Colman-Egan for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Howard’s Luke Koepsell logged 22 points, while Kolt Koepsell added 14 points. Logan Mentele had 11 points. Taiden Hoyer and Carson Hinker posted six points apiece. Colby Claussen had five points.

For Colman-Egan, Jase Mousel and Jack Mousel scored nine points apiece. Jackson Zwart had seven points. Tyce Ryan scored five points. 


Leola-Frederick Area 72, Potter County 41

LEOLA — Noah Kippley and Gavin Nickelson combined for 34 points and 16 rebounds to power Leola-Frederick Area to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Kippley finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Nickelson logged 13 points and five rebounds. Westyn Thorpe and Taylor Himanga scored seven points apiece. Brayden Sumption scored nine points.

For Potter County, Ryder Falkenhagen finished with 13 points. Jhett Simon scored 12 points and Landon Larson scored 10 points.


Madison 73, Deubrook Area 41

MADISON — Three players reached double-figure scoring as Madison picked up a win over Deubrook Area in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Andrew Comes knocked down 5 3-pointers and led Madision with 19 points. Myles Schneider finished with 13 points, two rebounds and an assist while Ben Brooks had 10 points seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Jacob Jorenby led Deubrook Area with 22 points while adding five rebounds and four steals. Isaac Gass chipped in with eight points with Gavin Landmark adding four points, two rebounds and two steals. 


Canton 63, Alcester-Hudson 50 

ALCESTER — Four players scored in double figures to pace Canton to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Canton’s Braxton Mulder posted 17 points, while Julius Moore had 12 points, five rebounds and five assists. Cain Wallner and Ryan Kuper scored 10 points apiece. Matt Anderson added five points and four rebounds. Pierce Mastalir added three points, four assists and 10 rebounds. 

Alcester-Hudson’s Ethan Bovill finished with 17 points and seven rebounds. Mateo Kleinhans posted 11 points, while Jose Topete-Lopez had 10 points and eight rebounds. Dominic VanEgdom recorded eight points and 11 rebounds. Evan Haak added six boards. 


Sisseton 53, Redfield 20

SISSETON — Sisseton used a balanced scoring attack to earn a road win over Redfield in boys basketball action Tuesday night. 

Austin Kohl paced Sisseton with 12 points. Christian Shepard added 11 points and six rebounds while Nate Tchida added nine points. Hayden Hellwig chipped in with four points and five rebounds.

Tristen O’Daniel led Redfield with 19 points and Elijah Morrissette added five points. 


Centerville 65, Gayville-Volin 38

CENTERVILLE — Three players scored in double-figures as Centerville cruised to a win over Gayville-Volin in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Cole Edberg powered the Centerville attack with 19 points, seven rebounds and an assist. Aiden Bobzin contributed 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal while Alec Austin finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Ethan Bobzin chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds. 

Spencer Karstens led Gayville-Volin with 14 points, four rebounds and three assists. Preston Karstens added 11 points for Gayville-Volin. 


Tea Area 56, Brookings 43

TEA — Three players scored in double figures to pace Tea Area to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Tea Area’s Marshall Smythe finished with 17 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Jessen Wiebenga added 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and three 3-pointers. Sam Almas recorded 12 points. Garrett Wiebenga logged six points.

For Brookings, Austin Clark finished with 13 points and five rebounds. Owen Burns posted 10 points. Ben Moret scored eight points.
