Elkton-Lake Benton's Ryan Krog selected as Dakota Valley Conference MVP

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Ryan Krog was named the Dakota Valley Conference Most Valuable Player. 

Krog was one of six total Elks selected to the all-DVC team. In addition to Krog, Carson Griffith, Tanner Stein and Riddick Westley were all-conference selections. ELB’s Quintin Poindexter and Blake De Vries were honorable mentions selections. Elkton-Lake Benton’s Ethan Pearson was named the DVC coach of the year. 

Castlewood’s Carson Kirwan, Booker Schooley, Quincy Thu and Jeremiah Wiersma were all-conference honorees. Lane Tvedt was an honorable mention selection. 

De Smet’s Damon Wilkinson, Noah Harrison, Kadyn Fast and Dylan Zell were all-conference selections. Trace Van Regenmorter was an honorable mention honoree.

Deubrook Area’s Colin Bauman, Treven Grimsrud and Jake Jorenby were all-conference honorees. Gavin Landmark and Dylan Rios were honorable mention selections. 

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Gabriel Lindeman, C.J. Smith and Nic Gaspar were all-conference selections. Wyatt Geraets was an honorable mention honoree for the Cardinals. 

Estelline/Hendricks’ Joseph McAninch and Jon Nefzger were selected to the all-conference team. Mattix Hausman and Braxton Saathoff were honorable mention selections. 

Iroquois/Lake Preston’s Jake Larsen and Jonah Denison were all-conference honorees. Haydon Shurson was an honorable mention honoree. 

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland’s Riley Schneider was an all-conference selection, while Logan Trygstad was an honorable mention selection. 

Colman-Egan’s Ben Zwart was selected to the all-conference team and Logan Voelker was an honorable mention honoree. 

Arlington’s Caden Murphy was an all-conference pick and Evan Fonseca was an honorable mention selection.
