WINNER — Ethan/Parkston captured team titles at Tuesday’s Southeast South Dakota Conference track and field meet. 

The Ethan/Parkston girls recorded 198 points, finishing ahead of Chamberlain (81) and Mount Vernon/Plankinton (79). The Ethan/Parkston boys racked up 147 points, finishing ahead of Winner (138) and Gregory (113). 

In girls action, Ethan/Parkston’s Lauren Ziebart won the 100-meter dash (:12.31), 200-meter dash (:25.43) and finished third in the long jump (16-0.5). 

Ethan/Parkston’s Marissa Storm won the 400-meter dash (1:02.04). Storm, Emelia Tapio, Sadie Mueller and Ella Pollreisz won the 1,600-meter relay (4:15.07). 

The same foursome won the 3,200-meter relay (10:16.80). 

Maddie Nebelsick, Elle Goehring, Rachel Klock and Tapio won the sprint medley relay (4:57.67). Storm added a first-place finish in the triple jump (35-3.5). 

Ethan/Parkston’s Keeara Oakley won the javelin (101-4) and placed second in the high jump (4-7). 

Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Reagan Rus won the 100-meter hurdles (:15.56) and 300-meter hurdles (:47.61). Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Sammi Eide won the 800-meter run (2:24.08). MVP’s Abigail Engelland won the 1,600-meter run (5:42.27). 

Winner’s Daisy McIntyre, Kylie Sachtjen, Livvy Audiss and Keelie Kuil won the 400-meter relay (:51.59). The same quartet won the 800-meter relay (1:49.93). 

Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal won the shot put (34-10.75) and high jump (5-1). 

Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips won the 3,200-meter run (12:13.19). Chamberlain’s Piper Powell won the discus (106-5). 

Gregory’s Regan Graesser won the long jump (16-7.5). 

In boys action, Ethan/Parkston’s Mark Deckert won the 200-meter dash (:22.62) and finished fifth in the 100-meter dash (:11.47). 

Ethan/Parkston’s Kolter Kramer won the 400-meter dash (:51.85). Ethan/Parkston’s Burke Nuebel, KJ Ripley, Sean Deckert and Reco Muilenburg won the sprint medley relay (4:01.16). Ethan/Parkston’s James Deckert won the long jump (22-7.25) and placed second in the 200-meter dash (:22.78). 

Winner’s Austin Blare won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.60) and 300-meter hurdles (:41.51). Winner’s Jackson Bachmann, Kellen Brozik, Jalen Tideman and Karson Keiser won the 3,200-meter relay (9:13.48). Keiser won the 800-meter run (2:07.89). 

Bachmann, Brozik, Blare and Keiser won the 1,600-meter relay (3:30.56). 

Winner’s Shawn Hammerbeck won the shot put (42-10.5), javelin (151-2) and placed second in the discus (157-6). Winner’s Jaxon Day won the discus (169-4). 

Gregory’s Finn Adams won the 1,600-meter run (4:54.68) and Gregory’s Luke Barreto won the 3,200-meter run (11:20.49). Gregory’s Colt Keiser won the high jump (6-1). Gregory’s Jhett Eklund won the triple jump (41-4).

Braxton Breukelman, Quincy Stephens, Hayden Sprik and Vanden Berge won the 400-meter relay (:44.25). The same foursome won the 800-meter relay (1:31.66). 

Platte-Geddes’ Kyler Strand won the pole vault (11-0). Platte-Geddes’ Carson Vanden Berge won the 100-meter dash (:11.25).
