PARKER — Ethan/Parkston swept team titles at Saturday’s Parker Booster Club Invitational track and field meet. 

The Ethan/Parkston boys finished with 182 points, ahead of Viborg-Hurley (103) and Parker (93). The Ethan/Parkston girls totaled 190 points, ahead of Chester (115) and Parker (81). 

In boys action, Ethan/Parkston’s Mark Deckert won the 100-meter dash (:11.43) and Ethan/Parkston’s James Deckert won the 200-meter dash (:23.28).

Mark Deckert, James Deckert, Parker Sanderson and Kolter Kramer won the 400-meter relay in :43.67. The same foursome won the 800-meter relay (1:31.22). James Deckert won the long jump (21-8.75) 

Ethan/Parkston’s Joaquin Rodriguez won the javelin (133-9). Mason Jervik cleared 6-1 to win the high jump for Ethan/Parkston. Jervik added a third-place finish in the long jump (19-3) and a fifth-place finish in the triple jump (38-8).   

Freeman’s Tate Sorensen won the 400-meter dash (:52.34) and Freeman’s Lane McCune won the 3,200-meter run (11:26.74). Sorensen, Luke Miller, Luke Peters and Braydan Mangel won the 1,600-meter relay (3:36.92). 

Garretson’s Carter Siemonsma won the 800-meter run (2:06.44), 1,600-meter run (4:46.22) and placed fifth in the 3,200-meter run (12:09.29). 

Viborg-Hurley’s Jacob Graves won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.86) and 300-meter hurdles (:41.76). 

Parker’s Jonas Sattler, Aleeus Wall, Alek Kuchta and Luke Travnicek won the 3,200-meter relay (8:53.05). 

McCook Central/Montrose’s Lane Deutsch, Jared Elcock, Gavin Kipp and Colton Stiefvater won the sprint medley relay (3:54.48). Stiefvater won the triple jump (39-3). 

MCM’s Jackson Schmidt won the shot put (47-11.75), placed third in the javelin (127-8) and placed fourth in the discus (130-4). 

Viborg-Hurley’s Rafe Goettertz won the discus (146-8).

In girls action, Ethan/Parkston’s Rory Juhnke, Rachel Klock, Berkley Ziebart and Lauren Ziebart won the 400-meter relay (:51.65). Maddie Nebelsick, Elle Goehring, Rachel Klock and Emelia Tapio won the sprint medley relay (4:44.12). Berkley Ziebart won the long jump at 15-10.75, finishing ahead of sister Lauren Ziebart (15-6). Juhnke claimed first place in the triple jump (33-2). 

Parker’s Braelyn Berens won the 100-meter dash (:12.68) and 200-meter dash (:25.80). Parker’s Jersey Lessman won the shot put (34-0). Parker’s Jenna Van Velzen won the high jump (4-10). 

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard won the 400-meter dash (1:01.83) and 800-meter run (2:25.69). Chester’s Claire McDonald won the 1,600-meter run (5:41.84). Chester’s Jacy Wolf won the 100-meter hurdles (:15.55) and 300-meter hurdles (:46.57). 

Wolf, Eppard, McDonald and Katelyn Schut won the 1,600-meter relay in 4:17.71. 

Irene-Wakonda’s Ava George won the 3,200-meter run (13:52.36). 

Freeman’s Cadence Hofer, Makenzie Scharberg, Rylee Peters and Vaida Ammann won the 800-meter relay (1:51.15). 

Garretson’s Addison Hove, Lydia Frerk, Annaliese Hoeck and Harper Andera won the 3,200-meter relay (10:09.98). 

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland’s Emmalyn Pickard won the discus (99-10). Viborg-Hurley’s Olivia Hanson won the javelin (108-8).
