Kimball/White Lake 63, Burke 40

BURKE — Big nights from Jay Dee Gough and Keaton Christensen powered Kimball/White Lake past Burke in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Gough finished with 22 points and Christensen chipped in with 21 points. 

Brody Indahl led Burke with 17 points and Jayder Schonebaum added eight points. 


Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 63, McLaughlin 57 

MCLAUGHLIN — Cheyenne-Eagle Butte clipped McLaughlin for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

CEB’s Easton Lawrence finished with 16 points, while Jayden Marshall added 11 points. Damien Clown added nine points and Nehemiah Veaux scored seven points. Nicholas Woods III had five points.

For McLaughlin, Tyler Bullhead tossed in a game-high 23 points. Boston Miller had eight points. Jordan Brown and Javon Chasing Hawk scored six points apiece. Lai’Ty Brown Otter and Trevor Iron Shield scored five points apiece. 


Castlewood 64, Deubrook Area 53

WHITE — Bryon Laue and Jamison Keszler combined for 48 points to power Class B No. 2 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Laue finished with 25 points, 14 rebounds and six blocked shots. Keszler added 23 points and six assists. Kamden Keszler finished with 11 points.


Wessington Springs 70, Hitchcock-Tulare 31

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Three players scored in double figures as Wessington Springs defeated Hitchcock-Tulare for a boys basketball win on Thursday. 

Parker Graff finished with 19 points and Karter Mebius added 17 points. Colby Flowers scored 15 points.

Hitchcock-Tulare stats were not reported. 


Hamlin 71, Deuel 24

CLEAR LAKE — Class A No. 2 Hamlin coasted past Deuel for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Hamlin’s Jackson Wadsworth finished with 19 points, while Evan Stormo added 15 points. Easton Neuendorf recorded 14 points and Zac VanMeeteren scored 10 points. Boden Stevenson had seven points.

For Deuel, Troy Jensen scored eight points. Caden Finnesand and Gabe Sather scored seven points apiece. 


De Smet 53, Wolsey-Wessington 51

WOLSEY — Three players scored in double figures as De Smet clipped Wolsey-Wessington for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Grant Wilkinson led the Bulldogs with 19 points and 22 rebounds. Slayten Wilkinson added 12 points and four assists. Noah Luethmers had 10 points and four rebounds. Ganon Henrich and Carter Wilkinson scored six points apiece. Carter Wilkinson added five rebounds.

For WW, Moshe Richmond had 18 points and eight rebounds. Caleb Richmond posted 17 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three 3-pointers. Larz Tvedt had six points, while Peyton Rainford added five points. 

 

Rapid City Christian 74, Lead-Deadwood 54

LEAD — Class A No. 3 Rapid City Christian used a balanced-scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Rapid City Christian’s Benson Kieffer finished with 18 points and Julius Frog added 15 points. Sully Kieffer totaled 13 points and Simon Kieffer scored nine points. Aiden Roberts and Peyton Glenn scored eight points apiece. 

Lead-Deadwood stats were not reported.

 

Mobridge-Pollock 75, Sully Buttes 59

MOBRIDGE — Four players scored in double figures to defeat Sully Buttes in Thursday boys basketball action.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Shooter Frederick finished with 20 points and four 3-pointers. Shane Henderson added 18 points. Kale Knudson scored 15 points and Easton Eisemann added 14 points. Kyson Good Shield scored five points.

For Sully Buttes, Wesley Wittler scored 20 points. Gavin Colson added 13 points and Jett Yackley scored 10 points. Easton Moore finished with seven points and Eli Mercer scored five points.


Gayville-Volin 64, Flandreau Indian 38

FLANDREAU — A balanced scoring attack helped Gayville-Volin to a win over Flandreau Indian in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Spencer Karstens led Gayville-Volin with 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Hunter Wuebben added 13 points and three assists while Preston Karstens chipped in with seven points and five rebounds. 

Howard Shaw led Flandreau Indian with 20 points and Geno White Hawk added nine points. 


Waubay/Summit 56, Britton-Hecla 50

SUMMIT — Three players reached double figures as Waubay/Summit held off Britton-Hecla in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Traveion Neilan led Waubay/Summit with 19 points. Camden Neilan scored 16 points and Tigh Gaikowski chipped in with 12 points. 

Will Richter led Britton-Hecla with 20 points.
