WEBSTER — The Great Plains Lutheran boys and Clark/Willow Lake girls won team titles at Wednesday’s Region 1A cross-country meet contested at the Webster Golf Course. 

Great Plains Lutheran won the boys title with 28 points, just ahead of Deuel (29) and Milbank (30). Florence/Henry (65) and Clark/Willow Lake (105) rounded out the top-five teams. 

The Clark/Willow Lake girls scored 25 points, ahead of Milbank, 37 and Deuel (45). Aberdeen Roncalli (74) and Florence-Henry rounded out the top five girls teams.

Sisseton’s Ryder Graff won the boys race covering the 5,000-meter course in 18:00, ahead of Deuel teammates Caden Hourigan (18:11) and Tyson Hagberg (18:16). Milbank’s Jeter Scoular (18:35) and Bryan Meyeter (18:48) rounded out the top-five boys. 

Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan won the girls race covering the 5,000-meter course in 20:28, ahead of Aberdeen Roncalli’s Addison Cassady (20:41) and Clark/Willow Lake’s Kamryn Nesheim (20:42). Milbank teammates Ella Koplin (20:52) and Bianca Berry (20:54) rounded out the top-five individuals.
