WATERTOWN — Harrisburg won its first-ever gymnastics state championship on Friday.

The Tigers dethroned powerhouse Mitchell after it won in 2023 and ‘24. Harrisburg recorded 152.9833 points, defeating Mitchell (148.6333) for the state championship. 

In Class A, Estelline/Hendricks won its third-straight state championship. The Redhawks recorded 145.9333 points, a new Class A state meet record. Parkston/Ethan/Hanson/Mount Vernon (138.8832) placed second.
