Herreid/Selby Area's Breanna Jochim claims three first-place finishes at Charger Invite

ONIDA — Herreid/Selby Area’s Breanna Jochim earned three first-place finishes at Monday’s Charger Invite. 

Jochim claimed first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (:12.87), 200-meter dash (:26.71) and long jump (16-2). 

Pierre’s Reese Terwilliger captured first-place finishes in the shot put (40-7) and discus (108-10). 

Jones County’s BreAna Aske won the 400-meter dash (1:05.41) and placed third in the 200-meter dash (:28.01). 

Faulkton Area’s Carley Cotton won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.74) and placed third in the 300-meter hurdles (:54.08). 

In boys action, Potter County’s Sean Seurer won the 100-meter dash (:11.59) and placed second in the 200-meter dash (:23.83). Seurer also ran the lead legs on Potter County’s 800-meter relay (1:40.71) and sprint medley relay (4:16.69). 

Pierre’s Caleb Morris was a double winner in the 1,600-meter run (5:04.35) and 3,200-meter run (11:06.45). 

Lyman’s Rory McManus earned a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (:16.01) and finished second in the 300-meter hurdles (:46.58). 

Warner’s Alex Pudwill captured first-place finishes in the shot put (43-5.5) and discus (135-6), while he finished second in the javelin (138-10). 

Jones County’s Jett Nix won the high jump (5-8) and was a member of the winning 1,600-meter relay (3:55.78). 

The Pierre boys won the 400-meter relay (:49.20) and 3,200-meter relay (9:22.21).
