Clark-Willow Lake 52, Milbank 35

MILBANK — Emmerson Larson and Sullivan Felberg poured in a combined 36 points and 17 rebounds as Clark-Willow Lake defeated Milbank Thursday.

Larson led with 21 points and seven rebounds, Felberg had 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, Chris Bevers had eight points and seven rebounds, while Bo Begeman tallied four points and six rebounds in the win.

Milbank’s Sam Rick totaled 11 points and four rebounds, Jeter Scoular had nine points, while Emmett Hanson recorded seven rebounds in the loss.


Dell Rapids 59, Mobridge-Pollock 39

DELL RAPIDS — Tad Tjaden powered Dell Rapids to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Tjaden finished with 27 points, six rebounds and three assists. Lincoln Anderson added 15 points. Jack Kloth had eight points and eight rebounds.

For Mobridge-Pollock, Shane Henderson scored 16 points. 

 

Dell Rapids St. Mary 56, De Smet 48

DE SMET — Trevon Beckman and Trimmier Hanson combined for 41 points to power Class B No. 2 Dell Rapids St. Mary to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Beckman finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, nine steals and three 3-pointers. Hanson added 15 points. Maverick LeBrun had six points and seven rebounds.

For De Smet, Grant Wilkinson finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Carter Wilkinson posted nine points, while Ganon Henrich had eight points. Noah Luethmers had seven points and four rebounds, while Samuel Gigov posted six points and five assists.


Timber Lake 63, North Central 40

ROSCOE — Timber Lake used a 19-9 second-quarter run to pick up a Thursday boys basketball win.

Cole Ducheneaux led the Panthers with 17 points, while Treyden Beer added 11 points. Braden Lawrence, Kanton Hunt, Broc Bauer and Pete Maher scored six points apiece. Ducheneaux and Beer hit three 3-pointers apiece. 

For North Central, Donovan Nelson finished with 14 points. Cole Beitelspacher scored nine points, while Jade Jacobs had six points.


Elkton-Lake Benton 57, Waubay-Summit 43

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton pulled away from Waubay-Summit for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Eliot Erickson finished with 13 points and four rebounds. Joseph Nibbe added 11 points and three steals. Riley Nordmeyer and Tanner Drietz scored eight points apiece. Drietz had four rebounds. Colt Beck and Blake DeVries had six points apiece. 

For Waubay-Summit, Traveion Neilan finished with 24 points and Hogan Hlavacek had seven points.


Centerville 61, Gayville-Volin 43

GAYVILLE — Miles Eide and Alec Austin combined for 38 points as Centerville knocked off Gayville-Volin Thursday.

Eide had 22 points while Austin had 16 points in the win.

GV’s Spencer Karstens totaled 12 points, Hunter Wuebben had eight points while Preston Karstens added nine in the loss.


Sioux Falls O’Gorman 73, Tea Area 71 

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Falls O’Gorman to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Nyun Dut finished with 20 points and seven rebounds. Austin Terveen added 18 points and three rebounds. John Lent had 10 points and five boards. Jackson Bjorkman had eight points and five rebounds. Caleb Terveen posted eight points. Kamden Cisse added six points and six rebounds. 

For Tea Area, Grifin Wiebenga finished with 29 points and four rebounds. Gavin Shawd recorded 19 points and five rebounds. Marshall Smythe had 14 points and eight assists. Jaxson Merrigan added five points and seven rebounds.
