Corsica-Stickney 44, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 43

CORSICA — Braylee Bordewyk's late 3-pointer lifted Corsica-Stickney to a girls basketball win over Class B No. 2 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Thursday. 


North Central 41, Timber Lake 36

ROSCOE — North Central outscored Timber Lake 14-6 in the fourth quarter to earn a Thursday girls basketball win.

Amree VanderVorst led the way with 17 points, while Alaina Dosch added 11 points. Tylee VanderVorst had five points.

For Timber Lake, Jasmine Nash finished with 11 points. Ruby Maher scored nine points and Jaylee Schoelerman recorded eight points.  


Milbank 51, Florence-Henry 34

MILBANK — Three players scored in double figures to pace Milbank to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Milbank’s Isabella Anderson finished with 15 points, four assists, four steals and three 3-pointers. Tyra Berry and Claire Snaza scored 11 points apiece. Snaza had five rebounds. Siera Wenzl logged six points.

For FH, Ashlyn Vavruska had 13 points and four rebounds. Brooke Hlavacek had six points, while Ashlyn Klitzke had five points. 


Lennox 67, Canton 48

LENNOX — Three players scored in double figures to pace Lennox to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Lennox’s Andie Peters finished with 20 points. Karlie Bosma added 13 points and six rebounds. Ryan Hanssen had 11 points.

For Canton, Camryn Skiles finished with 15 points and six rebounds. Jenna Vande Weerd added 14 points. 


Flandreau 48, Dell Rapids 43

FLANDREAU — Sadie Iott and Morgan Sheppard combined for 32 points and 11 rebounds to power Flandreau to a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Iott finished with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Sheppard added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.

For Dell Rapids, Rorie Thoreson scored a team-high 18 points. Jersi Schultz and Mya Destigter scored nine points apiece. 


Waubay-Summit 40, Elkton-Lake Benton 25

ELKTON — Faith Larson’s double-double helped Waubay-Summit defeat Elkton-Lake Benton during Thursday’s high school girls basketball action.

Larson finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds and two steals, Kayce Berger had 11 points and four steals, Brianna Lindholm tallied seven points, while Liza Purdy brought down nine rebounds.

ELB’s Jocelyn Prosch led with six points and three rebounds, Sydney DeVries had four points and three boards, while Gella Jones brought in five rebounds in the loss.
