Kimball/White Lake 55, Mitchell Christian 40 

MITCHELL — Kimball/White Lake pulled away from Mitchell Christian for a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Kimball/White Lake’s Blake Leiferman finished with 16 points, while Jaxon Christensen and Jaxson Pursell added 12 points apiece. Porter Miller logged eight points and Dawson Miller scored five points. 

Mitchell Christian’s Braedon Nebelsick scored a game-high 21 points. Aiden Lieber added eight points. Nahum Anderberg scored five points. 


Lower Brule 70, Crazy Horse 49

HURON — Class B No. 3 Lower Brule captured the Dakota Oyate Challenge boys basketball championship on Saturday. 

Lower Brule’s Brian LaRoche Jr., logged 23 points, while Tate Elk Soldier and Ellwyn Langdeau Jr., scored 14 points apiece. Lane Gray added 13 points. 

Crazy Horse’s Noah Iron Horse scored 24 points, while Hyden Martin added 14 points. Richard Pumpkin Seed scored seven points. 


Marty 60, Omaha Nation, Neb., 52

HURON — Marty held off Omaha Nation, Nebraska, for third place at the Dakota Oyate Challenge boys basketball tournament on Saturday. 

Marty’s Benicio Zephier logged 23 points, while Greg Zephier and Terrill Rave scored 10 points apiece. Julius Bruguier added nine points. 

Omaha Nation’s Keiyan Parker scored 14 points. 


Tiospaye Topa 60, Wakpala 59

HURON — Kris Meeter’s 25-footer at the buzzer propelled Tiospaye Topa to a fifth-place finish in the Dakota Oyate Challenge on Saturday. 

Meeter drilled four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 34 points. Dennis Sand III finished with 11 points while Kaden Rousseau added 10 for the Thunderhawks. 

Zachary Moran led Wakpala with 13 points while Jacob Moran added 12 points. Antoine Mellette scored 10 points for the Sioux while Ashtyn Kills Small chipped in with nine points. 


Flandreau Indian 91, Takini 54

HURON — A monster scoring outing from Flandreau Indian senior Malik Longie helped FIS to a boys basketball win over Takini on Saturday and a seventh-place finish at the Dakota Oyate Challenge. 

Longie made 20 2-point baskets on his way to a 53-point outing. L’Trell Brother of All scored 21 points with Lavelle Fights Over chipping in with 10 points. 

Takini’s Redick Curley posted 17 points and Logan Quilt added 12 points. Kyson Crow Ghost and C.J. Pedersen scored eight and seven points, respectively. 


Wessington Springs 66, Miller 55

MILLER — Three players scored in double figures as Wessington Springs picked up a boys basketball win over Miller on Saturday. 

Wessington Springs’ Parker Graff recorded 21 points, while Blake Larson added 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Ryder Michalek posted 14 points and six rebounds. Brock Krueger had nine points, nine rebounds and five assists. Colby Flowers finished with six points and four rebounds. 

Miller’s Trevor Werdel posted a 20-point and 10-rebound double-double. Alex Schumacher added 13 points, six rebounds and four assists. Spencer Fernholz had nine points, three rebounds and three assists. Isaak Hunter logged six points, five rebounds and five assists. Dylan Hass had five points and four rebounds. 


James Valley Christian 69, Iroquois/Lake Preston 44

LAKE PRESTON — Landon Wallman and Landon Wager combined to score 33 points as James Valley Christian earned a win over Iroquois/Lake Preston in boys basketball action Saturday. 

Wallman finished with a game high 19 points. Wager had 14 points while Isaac Korell added 10 points. Dan Frandsen chipped in with eight points. 

Josh McMasters hit five 3-pointers and led Iroquois/Doland with 21 points. Logan Pesky scored 13 points for the Sharks. 


Leola/Frederick Area 57, South Border, N.D., 50

WISHEK — Noah Kippley and Connor Spitzer combined for 33 points to pace Leola/Frederick Area to a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Kippley recorded 20 points, while Spitzer added 13 points. Hans Lapka scored nine points. 


Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 55, Stanley County 46

EAGLE BUTTE — Cheyenne-Eagle Butte captured its first boys basketball win of the season on Saturday.

CEB’s MacKenzie Cass finished with 14 points, while Kingslee Parker and Easton Lawrence scored nine points apiece. Levi Elk Nation added eight points and Damien Clown scored six points. Tigh Garreau had five points. 

Stanley County’s Kaden Montana tossed in 21 points, while Broch Zeeb netted 11 points. Paxton Deal scored eight points. 


Sioux Falls Christian 48, Hamlin 46

MADISON — Britton Mulder scored a game-winning layup as time expired to lift Class A No. 3 Sioux Falls Christian past Hamlin for a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday. The Chargers rallied back from a 27-14 halftime deficit. 

Sioux Falls Christian’s Ethan Bruns scored 21 points. 

Hamlin’s Tyson Stevenson scored 17 points. 


Dakota Valley 71, Clark/Willow Lake 50

MADISON — Class A No. 1 Dakota Valley pulled away from Clark/Willow Lake for a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday.

Isaac Bruns recorded 23 points, eight rebounds and three 3-pointers. Jaxson Wingert added 17 points and eight rebounds. Randy Rosenquist Jr., logged 13 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Luke Bruns scored six points and Jaxon Hennies added five points. 

CWL’s Kaplan Felberg tossed in 24 points and four 3-pointers. Trey Huber added 15 points, while Brady Jordan grabbed six rebounds. 


Madison 74, Tiospa Zina 48 

MADISON — Aiden Jensen logged a monster double-double to power Madison to a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday.

Jensen logged 41 points, 14 rebounds and four steals. Ben Brooks added 11 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Andrew Comes, Charles Callahan and Eli Barger scored six points apiece. 

Tiospa Zina’s Nate Thompson logged 15 points, all on five 3-pointers. Tate Never Misses A Shot recorded 11 points and four rebounds. Storm Sierra added eight points, while Ashden Sierra scored six points. 


Dell Rapids 65, Aberdeen Roncalli 31

MADISON — Dell Rapids picked up a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday.

Dell Rapids’ Brayden Pankonen pumped in a game-high 24 points. 

Roncalli’s Maddox Miller netted 10 points. 


Tri-Valley 68, Sisseton 31

MADISON — Tri-Valley coasted past Sisseton for a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday.

Tri-Valley’s Trey Johnson scored 19 points, while Noah Haynes added 17 points. Carter Sorenson tossed in 13 points and Alex Wingen posted six points. 

Sisseton’s Carter Stickland scored 10 points and Ethan DeSpiegler netted six points. Colter Hanson added five points. 


West Central 60, Webster Area 39 

MADISON — West Central topped Webster Area for a boys basketball win at the Dak-XII/NEC Clash on Saturday.

West Central’s Erik Seten put in 17 points, while Dylan Stromer added nine points. Owen Heath and Carter Schmeichel scored eight points apiece. 

Webster Area’s Jaiden McCreary scored 15 points and Matthew Mount added seven points. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 56, Great Plains Lutheran 51

ELKTON — Elkton-Lake Benton held off a late rally from Great Plains Lutheran to secure a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Ryan Krog led the Elks with 23 points, six 3-pointers, four rebounds and four steals. Carson Griffith added 13 points and 16 rebounds. Quinten Poindexter logged seven points and four rebounds. Tanner Stein logged five points, six rebounds, five steals and five assists. 

GPL’s Austin Rubendall scored 17 points, while Alex Heil added 14 points. Myles York scored eight points. 


Mitchell 72, Rapid City Central 48

RAPID CITY — Five players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 3 Mitchell picked up a road win over Rapid City Central in boys basketball action Saturday. 

Gavin Soukup paced Mitchell with 16 points, three rebounds and two assists. Colton Smith scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Steele Morgan added 11 points while Aiden Myers and Dylan Soulek each scored 10 points. Charlie McCardle scored nine points. 

Rapid City Central’s Shun Zi-White Woman tossed in 14 points, while Jet Janvrin scored 13 points. Cooper Totten added seven points. 


Pierre 80, Harrisburg 60 

PIERRE — Class AA No. 4 Pierre used a balanced scoring effort to earn a boys basketball win over Harrisburg on Saturday.

Pierre’s Lincoln Kienholz finished with 27 points and hit three 3-pointers. Benjamin Heisler added 18 points, while Brecken Krueger had 11 points and three 3-pointers. Jackson Edman scored nine points and Carson Ahartz added six points. 

Harrisburg’ Jacoby Mehrman poured in a game-high 28 points. Braeden VanBoeckern and Maxwell Knutson scored 14 and nine points, respectively. 


Sioux Falls Jefferson 63, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 60

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Jefferson edged Sioux Falls Roosevelt in boys basketball action on Saturday. 

Jefferson’s Kaden Year recorded 23 points and four rebounds. Griffin Wilde added 19 points, while Taylen Ashley had 14 points. 

Roosevelt’s Abraham Kamara finished with 17 points and Jackson Brouwer added 12 points and five rebounds. Jack Radel and Rilpuou Machol scored nine points apiece. Garang Kuol and Hayden Goff scored seven and six points, respectively. 


Rapid City Stevens 54, Huron 51

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures to pace Rapid City Stevens to a boys basketball win over Huron on Saturday. 

Stevens’ Dayler Segrist scored 13 points and added four rebounds. Caden Dowling added 11 points, while Minkah Hawley had 10 points and seven rebounds. Madinko Hawley posted six points and six rebounds. Nash Sobczak had five points and 12 rebounds. 

Huron’s Reilyn Zavesky tossed in a game-high 26 points and hit three 3-pointers. Dawsyn Rogers recorded eight points, while C.J. Gainey added six points.
