Kimball/White Lake 54, Colome 10

COLOME — Kimball/White Lake coasted past Colome for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

KWL’s Graden Holan recorded 12 points. Keaton Christensen had 11 points. Park Sinclair finished with 10 points and Cooper Leiferman had seven points. 

Colome’s Jonah Musser had 10 points. 


Spearfish 57, Hill City 49

HILL CITY — Class AA No. 5 Spearfish pulled away from Hill City for a boys basketball victory on Thursday.

Spearfish’s Dylon Doren recorded 16 points and Bennett Kortan finished with 13 points. Cooper Gibbs added 10 points and Haroon Khan had nine points. Tucker Olson finished with six points.

For Hill City, Zane Messick recorded 23 points. Everett Sullivan and Devin Buehler scored 12 points apiece. 


Hamlin 84, Tiospa Zina 26

AGENCY VILLAGE — Four players scored in double figures as Class A No. 2 Hamlin coasted past Tiospa Zina for a boys basketball win on Thursday. The Chargers hit 10 3-pointers. 

Hamlin’s Evan Storm recorded 16 points. Easton Neuendorf finished with 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Zac VanMeeteren posted 14 points and Dawson Noem scored 11 points. Jackson Wadsworth and Turner Stevenson scored nine points apiece. Stevenson nailed three 3-pointers. Boden Stevenson scored six points. 

For TZ, Ashden Sierra scored 15 points and Devon Bluehorse had six points. 


Howard 52, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 37

HOWARD — Carson Hinker and Luke Koepsell powered Class B No. 5 Howard to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Hinker finished with 17 points, while Koepsell added 14 points. Brody Spader finished with six points. Kolt Becker and Caden Schwader scored five points apiece.

For SCW, Landon Jensen scored 12 points. McCoy Schulz had eight points, while Grant Edwards added seven points. Sam Baruth scored five points. 


Viborg-Hurley 71, Hanson 61

ALEXANDRIA — Class B No. 3 Viborg-Hurley used a balanced scoring attack to pick up for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

VH’s Brady Schroedermeier finished with 22 points, while Nick Hanson added 21 points. Jake Austin scored 13 points and Braydyn Morrison had 12 points. 

For Hanson, Ben Wilber tossed in 31 points. A.J. Wilber added 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Sutton Dewald had 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. 


Leola-Frederick Area 56, Aberdeen Roncalli 47

FREDERICK — Class B No. 4 Leola-Frederick Area improved to 7-0 with a boys basketball win over Aberdeen Roncalli on Thursday.

LF’s Ethan Petrich finished with 14 points and Noah Kippley added 10 points. Gavin Nickelson scored nine points. Westyn Thorpe recorded eight points, while Milo Sumption scored six points.

For Roncalli, Cam Olson scored 13 points. Sam Franks posted 10 points, while Aiden Fisher and Austin Fisher scored seven points apiece. Sam Larson scored five points. 


Deubrook 65, Iroquois/Lake Preston 53

LAKE PRESTON — Deubrook had three players reach double figures in Thursday’s win over Iroquois/Lake Preston.

Isaac Gaas powered Deubrook with 20 points. Braxton Bednarek (15) and Chance Schoenfeld 13) combined for 28 points for the Dolphins. 

Lucas Peskey led Iroquois/Lake Preston with 20 points and six steals. Carter Arbeiter added 17 points and eight rebounds. 


Vermillion 59, Baltic 46

VERMILLION — Four players scored in double digits as Vermillion defeated Baltic in boys basketball action.

Luke Jensen finished with 20 points, while Carter Hansen had 15 points. Trey Hansen had 12 points and Gabe Larsen scored 11 points.

For Baltic, Ben Erickson scored 17 points. Dylan Runestad had 13 points and six rebounds. 

 

Wessington Springs 57, Sunshine Bible Academy 39

MILLER — Parker Graff and Colby Flowers powered Wessington Springs to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Graff finished with a game-high 30 points. Flowers added 11 points and 12 rebounds. 

SBA stats were not reported. 


Waubay-Summit 63, Langford Area 27

WAUBAY — Three players scored in double figures as Waubay-Summit picked up a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Waubay-Summit’s Camden Neilan scored 17 points and hit five 3-pointers. Hogan Hlavacek added 15 points and Traveion Neilan had 10 points. Dylan Rumpza scored seven points.

For Langford Area, Kassen Keough had nine points and Rennan Bruns scored seven points. Caleb Mertz had five points. 


Dell Rapids 67, Canton 39

DELL RAPIDS — Three players scored in double figures as Dell Rapids ran past Canton for a win on Thursday night boys basketball action. 

Jack Kloth powered Dell Rapids with 18 points and seven rebounds. Tad Tjaden added 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists while Karson Payne chipped in with 10 points and five assists.

Noah Beatty led Canton with 15 points. 


Miller 51, Mobridge-Pollock 45

MILLER — Isaak Hunter’s double-double helped Miller to a win over Mobridge-Pollock in Thursday night boys basketball action. 

Hunter powered the Rustlers with 28 points and 18 rebounds. William Resel added nine points and 11 rebounds while Oliver Fritzsche and Gentry Harrell combined for 13 points, and six rebounds. 

Shane Henderson led Miler with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Shooter Frederick, Easton Eisemann and Jackson Eisemann each had nine points for Mobridge-Pollock. 

 

Freeman 65, Bridgewater-Emery 62 (OT) 

FREEMAN — David Walter paced Freeman past Bridgewater-Emery in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Walter finished with 28 points and nine rebounds. Tate Sorenson posted 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals while Luke Peters finished with 11 points and six rebounds. 

Ben Weber powered Bridgewater-Emery with 20 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists. Holden Wollman finished with 20 points and three rebounds. Jaxon Koch added nine points, while Macklen Weber had six points and five rebounds. 


Warner 52, Ipswich 48

IPSWICH — Drew Bakeberg and Jesiah Baum combined for 36 points as Warner edged Ipswich in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Bakeberg finished with 19 points, while Baum added 17 points. Brennan Wolf-Donat had six points and five rebounds.

For Ipswich, Max Kulesa finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Tucker Kadlec posted 16 points and eight boards. Jaxon Holt and Shay Knust scored five points apiece.


Britton-Hecla 74, Redfield 49

REDFIELD — Three players scored in double figures as Britton-Hecla defeated Redfield in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Britton-Hecla’s Jaxon Zuehlke finished with 14 points, while Chaz Vietor had 12 points. Daniel Person had 11 points, while Ben Folkman added nine points. Will Richter scored eight points, while Nathan Folkman and Jordyn McGregor added seven points apiece. Graham Fosness had six points.

For Redfield, Grady Hulscher finished with 16 points. Ethan Falk and Ruben Alvarez had 13 points apiece. Jackson Rude scored seven points.


Beresford 70, Chester 45

CHESTER — Malachi James and Tiegen Nyhaug powered Beresford to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Nyhaug finished with 24 points and James added 23 points. 

For Chester, Teegan Hodne had 12 points and Carter Vogel scored nine points. Will Seeley added six rebounds and three assists.
