Platte/Geddes White Caps 9, Alexandria 4

ALEXANDRIA — The Platte/Geddes White Caps outlasted Alexandria for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Aiden Bultje took the win for the White Caps, allowing three hits and zero runs, while striking out seven in five innings.

Caden Foxley led the White Caps with three hits in four at bats, while Jackson Neuman and Jaxon Christensen each added two hits. Joey Foxley drove in four runs, while Christensen had two RBI’s.

Hunter Robinson took the loss for Alexandria, pitching three innings and allowing six hits and six runs, while striking out six.

Riley Haynes led Alexandria with three hits in four at bats, while also driving in two runs. Kade Waldera added two hits.

 

Dell Rapids Post 65 14, Post 911 Chargers 4

 DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids Post 65 scored nine runs in the first inning to race past the Post 911 Chargers for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Landon Ruesink took the win for Post 65, giving up four runs on seven hits in five innings, while striking out eight and walking one.

Jack Henry, Brayden Pankonen, C.J. Smith, and Will Jaton each had two hits. Henry drove in five runs, while Jaton drove in two runs. Treyse Eastman stole three bases.

Harris Adamson took the loss for the Post 911 Chargers, allowing ten hits and 12 runs in three innings, while striking out one.

Kaden Huyser led the Post 911 Chargers with two hits in three at bats. Caden Reitz drove in two runs.

 

Groton Post 39 6, Warner W.I.N. 5

NORTHVILLE — Groton Post 39 held off Warner W.I.N. for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Jackson Cogley took the win for Post 39, allowing nine hits and five runs in seven innings, while striking out seven.

Cogley led Post 39 with three hits in three at bats, while Bradin Althoff had two hits with four at bats. Pierce Kettering had four stolen bases.

Ashton Remily took the loss for Warner W.I.N., pitching six innings and allowing nine hits and six runs, while striking out nine.

Sam Nilsson led Warner W.I.N. with three hits in four at bats, while Hunter Schipke and Quinton Fischbach each had two hits.
