Kimball/White Lake’s Blake Leiferman has verbally committed to play college football at South Dakota State University. Leiferman tweeted his intentions to be a Jackrabbit on Tuesday, Oct. 17. 

A 6-foot-6, 220-pounder, Leiferman plays tight end and defensive end for the WiLdKats. He is projected to play tight end for SDSU and will be a member of the 2024 recruiting class. 

This season, Leiferman has hauled in 381 yards receiving and seven touchdown receptions. He’s also logged double-digit tackles in multiple games for KWL, which will play Wall in the Class 9AA playoffs on Thursday. 

Leiferman also plays basketball and baseball.
