MITCHELL — Tyler Sanderson’s complete game propelled Hanson/Bridgewater-Emery past Mt. Vernon-Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney during Region 3B action Tuesday.

Sanderson allowed just one unearned run on three hits and two walks, striking out eight batters in a complete game outing. Brayden Bahmuller, AJ Wilber and Rhett Marek each tallied hits while Sanderson drove in a run on two walks.

For MVPCS, Tyson Wentland allowed two runs on one hit and four walks in three innings, striking out four batters in three innings. Isaiah Olson drove in a run on one hit, Brady Fox recorded a double while Jarrett Olawsky tallied one hit in the win as well.

Sioux Falls Christian/Sioux Falls Lutheran 15, Tri-Valley 5 (5 innings)

MITCHELL — Four batters drove in two runs apiece as Sioux Falls Christian/Sioux Falls Lutheran ran away with a Region 3B victory Tuesday.

Gabe Long and Brayden Witte each drove in two runs on two hits, Jais Kooima drove in two runs on a walk while Jake Humpal added two RBIs on three walks and one hit in the win. Drew Weir tallied two hits, a double and a walk while Peter Samp netted one RBI on one hit and three walks in the win.

Weir took the win allowing two runs on five hits and a walk in 4.1 innings, striking out five batters.

For Tri-Valley, Tristen Bunde allowed 10 runs on seven hits and six walks in three innings, fanning six batters. Alex Wingen tallied two hits, Brody Dybvig added a hit and two walks while Treyson Richter drove in two runs in the loss.
