GETTYSBURG — Miller’s Pierce Baumberger and Mobridge-Pollock’s Heidi Olson won the individual titles at the Central South Dakota Conference/Yellowstone Trail Conference cross-country meet on Wednesday.

Baumberger picked up the boys title with a time of 15:56.64, ahead of teammate Alex Schumacher (16:24.22), who finished in second place. Potter County’s Nicholas Schlachter (16:40.08) placed third, while Highmore-Harrold’s Dawson Hale (17:08.39) and Miller’s Tyson Kindle (17:55.22) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

Miller also won the boys team title with a score of 8, while Highmore-Harrold (22) and Potter County (33) placed second and third. McCook Central/Montrose (40) and Sunshine Bible Academy (41) rounded out the top-five.

On the girls side, Olson won with a time of 18:20.63, ahead of Potter County’s Dannika Kaup (18:27.21). Highmore-Harrold’s Autumn Fallis (19:02.27) and Jones County’s Jolie Dugan (20:05.88) placed third and fourth, while Potter County’s Jadyn Ahlemeier (20:06.06) rounded out the top five.

Potter County won the team title with a score of 8, ahead of Miller (25), Jones County (26), and North Central (38).
