RAPID CITY — The weather wiped out a busy slate of track and field on Thursday, but Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central athletes competed at the Crosstown Classic. 

In girls action, Rapid City Central’s Abigail Flanegan won the shot put (38-6) and discus (105-11). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Ava Holzwarth won the long jump (19-8) and placed second in the 100-meter dash. 

Rapid City Stevens’ Sylvie Mortimer won the 100-meter hurdles (:15.31). Rapid City Stevens’ Ella Bradeen won the 100-meter dash (:12.11). Rapid City Stevens’ Taylor Steever won the 400-meter dash (1:04.57). Rapid City Stevens’ Whitli Adams won the 1,600-meter run (5:45.77). 

Rapid City Central’s Izzy Fischer won the 800-meter run (2:32.34). 

Rapid City Central’s Lindsey Cole, Claire Hasse, Avery Young and Skyler Huber won the 400-meter relay (:51.09). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Dakota Jenkins, Scarlett Mockabee, Shaylee Bowie and Hailey Schroder won the 800-meter relay (1:55.60). 

Rapid City Central’s Caiya Strasser, Kamryn Stauffacher, Grace Skoog and Talia Backes won the 1,600-meter relay (4:24.02). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Brienna Brewer won the javelin (122-4). Rapid City Stevens’ Addison Benson won the high jump (5-2). Rapid City Central’s Emerie Carr won the triple jump (34-7). 

In boys action, Rapid City Stevens’ Elias Gillen won the shot put (54-9) and discus (158-11). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Jack Day won the 110-meter hurdles (:14.64) and placed second in the 200-meter dash (:22.94).  

Rapid City Central’s Henry Hill won the triple jump (42-4.75) and 200-meter dash (:22.44).  

Rapid City Central’s Sean Smith won the 100-meter dash (:11.06). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Trenton Policky won the 400-meter dash (:53.33). Rapid City Stevens’ Aaron Letner won the 3,200-meter run (10:36.13). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Harvey Vawter, Landen Meyer, Solomon Erlandson and Matthew McDonald won the 800-meter relay (1:38.22). 

Rapid City Central’s Taryn Wells, Kole Kroeger, Braedon Isler and Jaxon Jong won the 1,600-meter relay (3:55.47). 

Rapid City Stevens’ Kade Olmsted won the javelin (151-11). Rapid City Central’s Lincoln Williamson won the high jump (6-3). 

Rapid City Stevens’ James Fong won the long jump (19-7.5).
