Corsica-Stickney 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 2

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney outlasted Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 28-26, 25-23, 7-25, 12-25 and 15-10.

Corsica-Stickney’s Sophie DeLange posted four blocks, 18 kills, 13 digs, six assists and two aces. Hadynn Johnson posted seven kills and 20 digs. Macayla Gerlach added five kills. Braylee Bordewyk had 21 assists. Cali Vanden Hoek had 32 digs. 

For SCW, Kaylie Robinson had 19 kills and 21 digs. Liz Boschee posted 12 kills and six blocks, while Kenzie Schley had 19 digs. Alexa Goertz added 17 digs. Kali Hofer and Schley had 18 and 11 assists, respectively. 


Warner 3, Miller 0

WARNER — Class B No. 2 Warner earned a straight set sweep over Class A No. 4 Miller during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-21, and 26-24.

Stats for Warner were not reported.

Miller’s Paige Werdel tallied 10 kills, Olivia Resel dished out 21 assists while adding nine digs, Jolie Palmer had 14 digs, Aleah Schlechter added six kills, 12 digs, and an ace, while Gracen Werdel and Kailhlyn Anderberg each had four kills in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 3, Wilmot 0

WILMOT — Clark/Willow Lake swept Wilmot in straight sets in Tuesday night volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-18 and 25-19. 

Addison Heinje led Wilmot with six kills and three digs. Jade Cameron had four kills and six digs while Brooklyn Remund had a kill and five digs

Stats for Clark/Willow Lake were not reported. 


Chester 3, Baltic 1

CHESTER — Class B No. 1 Chester defeated Baltic in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-16, 20-25 and 25-20.

Chester’s Lily VanHal had three aces, 16 kills and 27 assists. Jacy Wolf added 20 digs, 14 kills and seven assists. Gracie Mensch had one block. Lexi Bauman had three aces. Emmerson Eppard had 22 digs.

Baltic stats were not reported. 


Ipswich 3, Sully Buttes 0 

IPSWICH — Ipswich swept Sully Buttes in straight sets in volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-20 and 25-13

Pacing the Ipswich attack was Brianna Geditz who had 23 digs and two aces. Kaylin Onken had eight kills and Marley Guthmiller had seven kills and 18 digs. Reaghan Bowers had 13 assists while Josie Knutson tallied 11 assists. 

Stats for Sully Buttes were not reported.


Bridgewater-Emery 3, Menno 0

MENNO — Bridgewater-Emery earned a three-set win over Menno in volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-23 and 27-25. 

Oakley Weber paced Bridgewater-Emery with 11 kills, 14 assists and 19 digs. Hayden Hofer had 10 kills, 15 assists and 16 digs. Maizey Strombeck had 18 assists while Summer Koch had seven kills and 11 digs. 

Leading Menno was Nora Robb who had three kills, three blocks, six assists and five digs. Taylor Freier had three assists and 22 digs while Amanda Rames had seven kills, a block and two digs. 


Avon 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 0

AVON — Avon swept Tripp-Delmont/Armour in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 27-25, 25-13 and 25-18. 

Avon’s Lila Vanderlei had 21 kills and 15 digs. Kaeli Wallinga posted four kills and one block, while Lexi Vanderlei posted three kills. Rilyn Thury had 14 digs and two aces. Jordyn Voigt posted 13 digs and two aces. Brielle Voigt had 23 assists. 

TDA’s Mia Reiner finished with 12 kills, 19 digs and five blocks. Kinley Spaans posted 17 assists. 


Canistota 3, Viborg-Hurley 1

VIBORG — Canistota slipped past Viborg-Hurley in a four-set volleyball match Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-23, 25-27 and 25-20. 

Ember Schenkel had a big night for Canistota with 14 kills, 25 digs and three aces. Emma Sandman also had 14 kills, 13 digs and three aces. Bailey Spicer finished with 28 assists, 15 digs and two aces. 

Leading Viborg-Hurley was Jenna Graves who had 28 assists, 25 digs and two kills. Charley Nelson had five kills, three assists, two aces and 36 digs while Addison Huth had 10 kills and eight digs. 


Canton 3, Parker 0 

PARKER — Canton swept Parker in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-19, 25-11 and 25-10.

Canton’s Jenna Vande Weerd posted 14 kills, seven aces and two blocks. Macy Plucker added one block, nine kills and nine digs. Lexie Kapperman had 18 assists, three aces and one block. Avayla Jaacks had nine digs and three blocks. Carmyn Peterson posted 13 digs. 

For Parker, Halle Berens posted six kills, 14 digs and two aces. Mara Mohr had six assists and two kills. Jenna Van Velzen logged eight digs, three kills and two aces. Paige Haase posted two kills and one block. Hannah Schaeffer had five assists and Alyeska Petersen posted one block. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Madison 0 

MADISON — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian rolled to a straight sets win over Madison in Tuesday volleyball action. The set scores were 25-5, 25-14 and 25-14.

Leading the Chargers was Addisen Barber who finished with eight kills, six aces and 14 assists. Jayla Overman added eight kills and three blocks. Chloe Bosma led with 18 digs while Meredith Nelson finished with 15 assists. 

Madison was led by Lydia Nelson who had 10 kills, eight digs and a block. Jaya Engels finished with five kills and a block while Karley Theede led with 15 assists. 


Deubrook Area 3, Flandreau 0

FLANDREAU — Deubrook Area earned a road volleyball win over Flandreau on Tuesday night. The set scores were 25-15, 25-22 and 25-23. 

Leading Deubrook Area was Matte Bauman who had three aces and 25 assists. Zoey Molengraaf had eight kills and six blocks. Kylee Johnson led with 13 digs and Mataya Gouws added four blocks. 

Morgan Kontz led Flandreau with 19 digs. Aly Schepel dished out 16 assists for the Fliers. 


Redfield 3, Leola-Frederick Area 0

REDFIELD — Redfield swept Leola-Frederick Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-10 and 25-12.

Redfield’s Hayden Gall posted 13 assists, while Charli Jungwirth had six kills, eight digs and three aces. Cecilia Suchor posted kills and Kinley Smith had three blocks. Kendyl Siebrecht had four aces. 

For Leola-Frederick Area, Jillian Ellwein posted four kills. Zoe Cox had four aces and Alivia Little added two aces. Zoe Kempf had one assist. Kaitlyn Mueller had a kill. 


Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Florence-Henry 0

ABERDEEN — Aberdeen Roncalli picked up a straight sets win over Florence-Henry in Tuesday volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-13 and 25-14. 

Leading Florence-Henry was Roean Raymer who had three kills and six blocks. Kaylee Vavruska had three aces while Ashlynn Vavruska led the team with six assists and 17 digs. 

Stats for Aberdeen Roncalli were not reported. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, North Central 0

EUREKA — Mobridge-Pollock earned a straight set win over North Central in volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-18 and 25-13. 

Leading North Central was Amree Vander Vorst who had 13 kills, two aces, seven assists and 20 digs. Sydney Bertsch dished out 18 assists and added five digs. Alaina Dosch finished with 16 digs and Ella Batie had four kills and two digs. 

Stats for Mobridge-Pollock were not reported. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, West Central 1

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept West Central in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 18-25, 25-16 and 25-9.

EPJ’s Bentlee Kollbaum racked up 31 kills, seven digs and one ace. Ashley Brewer had 11 kills, three blocks, three digs and two aces. Paige Jacobs added seven kills and three digs. Jillyan VandeVegete had seven kills and one digs. Cera Schmitz posted five kills and 15 digs. Kaitlyn VanRoekel had 14 digs, while Courtney Brewer had three aces, 10 digs and 46 assists. Skyler Stein posted nine digs. 

For West Central, Dawson Garry had nine kills, while Madi Ingalls posted eight kills, eight assists and eight digs. Cambree Ideker had 13 assists, three kills and five digs. Adisyn Bartmann logged two kills, one ace, and one block. Landry Heath logged five digs, while Avery Nothdurft posted three digs.


Sioux Valley 3, McCook Central/Montrose 0

VOLGA — Sioux Valley swept McCook Central/Montrose during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-7, 25-17.

Adison Renkly had 12 kills and 11 digs, Sunny Hesby dished out 22 assists, Keyra Kruse tallied seven kills, while Emma Gorvin and Lacey Langland each had five kills in the win.

MCM’s Ella DeKnikker had five kills and six digs, Maddy Lauck tallied eight assists, while Ashtyn DeKnikker added 13 digs in the loss.


Northwestern 3, Herried/Selby Area 0

SELBY — Class B No. 3 Northwestern earned a straight set victory over Herried/Selby Area during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 28-26, 25-6, and 25-9.

Ashley Haven had 14 kills, eight digs, and three aces. Haven also recorded her 1,000th career kill, three days after reaching her 1,000th career dig. Anna Brumfield added six kills and eight digs, Adriana Ratigan had five kills, while Ella Boekelheide tallied 30 assists and 12 digs in the win.

Stats for Herried/Selby Area were not reported.


Wagner 3, Platte/Geddes 2

WAGNER — Wagner defeated Platte/Geddes in a five-set thriller during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-8, and 15-9.

Wagner’s Ravyn Medricky and Hannah Holzbauer each tallied 14 kills, with Holzbauer adding 15 digs and Medricky adding 12 digs and two blocks. Libby Kotab led the Red Raiders in digs with 29, while Braxton Nedved dished out 31 assists in the win.

PG’s Kori Vanderwerff added 15 kills, 13 digs,  and two blocks. Halle Sprik had 22 digs, while Kolbi Hoffman led the Black Panthers in assists with 29.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 3, Sioux Falls Washington 1

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Jefferson earned a four-set victory over Sioux Falls Washington during Tuesday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 15-25, 25-18, 27-25, and 25-21.

Jefferson’s Emory Brosnahan had 16 kills and 16 digs, Peyten Krull tallied 14 kills and 13 digs, Averi Schmitt tallied 38 assists and 15 digs, while Sienna Sabers added six kills and three digs in the win.

Stats for Washington were not reported.


Brandon Valley 3, Sioux Falls Lincoln 1

SIOUX FALLS — Brandon Valley picked up a win over Sioux Falls Lincoln in four sets in volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-15. 

Jayaunna Stroh led the Lynx with 16 kills and 13 digs. Kennedi Boomsma had nine kills and three blocks. Riya Sheley finished with 18 assists and Logan McGuire dished out 17 assists. Mya VanWesten had 13 digs and Ashley Ertelt finished with 10 blocks.
