Kimball/White Lake 3, Corsica-Stickney 0

WHITE LAKE — Kimball/White Lake swept Corsica-Stickney in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-21.

Kimball/White Lake’s Harley Namanny added nine kills, 10 assists, 22 digs and two aces. Lindy Kiehn posted eight kills, four digs and two blocks. Ryann Nielsen finished with eight kills, 17 assists, 12 digs and four aces. Sienna Gillen recorded 19 digs and two aces. Madison Meier posted two kills, five assists and 21 digs. Mariah Gosmire had six kills, four digs and three blocks. 

For Corsica-Stickney, Sophie DeLange had seven kills, eight assists, five digs and 1.5 blocks. Ashlyn Lefers finished with five kills and four digs. Braylee Bordewyk had nine assists, 13 digs and three blocks. Brooklyn Bosma had four digs and three blocks. Jacey Kemp posted six digs and two kills. Cali Vanden Hoek had 10 digs. 


Burke 3, Platte-Geddes 2

BURKE — Burke outlasted Platte-Geddes in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 16-25 and 15-13.

Burke’s Kailee Frank finished with 15 kills and 25 digs. Paige Bull posted 15 kills and one block. Emmie Hausmann added one block, 11 kills and 12 digs. Ella Johnson recorded 23 digs. Bridget Eliason recorded 17 assists and Ava Sargent recorded 14 assists and five aces. Kyrie Matucha had three assists.

For Platte-Geddes, Karly VanDerWerff and Cadence VanZee finished with 16 kills apiece. VanDerWerff added 22 digs and VanZee posted 17 digs. VanDerWerff had two aces. Hadley Hanson recorded 28 digs. Emerson Ringling posted three aces. Kori VanDerWerff had seven kills. 


Miller 3, Redfield 0

MILLER — Miller swept Redfield in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-10, 25-15 and 25-20.

Miller’s Aleah Schlechter finished with 10 kills and eight digs. Shaylee Anderberg added nine kills, eight digs and two aces. Paige Werdel recorded eight kills, while Gracen Werdel finished with five kills. Heather Resel recorded 30 assists and two aces. Jolie Palmer finished with 24 digs and two aces. Journey Palmer added three aces and seven digs. 

Redfield stats were not reported. 


Northwestern 3, Leola-Frederick Area 0

FREDERICK — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Leola-Frederick Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-15 and 25-8.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 15 kills, 11 digs, five aces and one block. Ana Ratigan added seven kills and three blocks. Nicolette Nickeson finished with six kills and two blocks. Ella Boekelheide added 28 assists. Tara Blachford and Payton Grandpre had three aces and nine digs apiece. 

Leola-Frederick Area stats were not reported. 


Mount Vernon/Plankinton 3, Lennox 0

MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon/Plankinton defeated Lennox in straight sets in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-16. 

Reagan Rus led the MVP offense with 16 kills while Taryn Hegg had one block. Vanessa Hoffman directed the offense with 23 assists. Berkeley Engelland had a team-high 14 digs. 

Lennox stats were not reported. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, Lemmon 0

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock swept Lemmon in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-17 and 25-22.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Charley Henderson finished with 12 kills, five digs and two solo blocks. Ryli Thompson added 11 kills, three digs and two aces. Raelyn Aberle posted seven kills and six digs. Grace Overland finished with six kills. Reagan Weisbeck posted 13 digs. Sophia Overland had six digs and two aces. Katy Kemnitz finished with 21 assists, while Sophia Overland had 14 assists.

For Lemmon, Sidney Maher finished with seven kills and Toree Maher added five kills. MiKailah Byre added 17 digs and two aces. Allie Kohn posted 11 digs. 


Baltic 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 2

ELKTON — Baltic edged Elkton-Lake Benton in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-21, 18-25, 25-18, 21-25 and 15-13.

Baltic’s Daynica Witzel finished with 25 kills, 16 digs and three blocks. Meredith Larson recorded six kills, while Maiya Frederickson had six kills, four aces and three blocks. Baily Teveldal finished with 43 assists, 24 digs and four aces. Ava Tiahrt had 13 assists, while Baylee Breece had five kills, 12 digs and two aces. Claire Berg posted five blocks. Tenley Witzel had 16 digs. 

For ELB, Aubree Bales finished with 13 kills, 19 digs and two solo blocks. Andrea Renkly added 10 kills and 10 digs. Kylie Ramlo recorded 19 digs, eight kills and two solo blocks. Tevan Erickson had 37 assists, 29 digs and three kills. Malayna Hemmen added 10 digs. Charlie Thooft logged 12 digs and seven kills. Ella Crofutt had 23 digs. 


Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 3, Freeman Academy/Marion 0

FREEMAN — Oldham-Ramona-Rutland swept Freeman Academy/Marion in straight sets to pick up a win in high school volleyball action Tuesday. 

Leading ORR Tuesday was Julia Trygstad who had 12 kills and 11 digs. Emily Matson did a little bit of everything Tuesday with 14 assists, two kills, eleven digs and five aces. Alivia Bickett had nine kills and nine digs with Rylan Pearson having 12 assists and four digs. 

Freeman Academy/Marion stats were not reported. 


Lower Brule 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 2

MILLER — Lower Brule outlasted Sunshine Bible Academy in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 9-25, 25-23, 25-19, 23-25 and 15-13.

Sunshine Bible Academy’s Annalise VanZee finished with nine kills and one block. Lydia Lo added four aces and three blocks, while Betra Amare had three aces, three digs and two assists. Kennedy Keck recorded five digs. Sadie Konechne had four kills and Abby Hinman recorded one assist.

Lower Brule stats were not reported. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 1

LAKE ANDES — Andes Central/Dakota Christian earned a four set win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 26-24, 22-25, 21-25 and 25-20. 

Megan Reiner powered Andes Central/Dakota Christian with 12 kills, 14 digs and five aces. Mia Reiner had five kills, eight blocks and ten digs. Morgan Gemar had two kills, three blocks and three digs. 

Claire Johnson led TDA with 11 kills, two blocks and 11 digs. Mahpiya Irving finished with seven kills, two blocks and 11 digs while Josie Brower had four kills, a block and seven digs. 


Deubrook Area 3, Deuel 0

DEUBROOK — Deubrook Area earned a straight sets win over Deuel in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-20, 25-13 and 25-16. 

A balanced hitting attack led by 11 kills from Matte Bauman and nine from Hannah Kjelden powered Deubrook Area’s offense Tuesday. Madalyn Bauman dished out 17 assists while Matte Bauman distributed 11 assists. Carly Engelstad had three aces while Delaney Pedersen led with 14 digs. 

Josie Andersen led Deuel with eight kills, 10 assists and 17 digs. 


Colman-Egan 3, Canistota 1

CANISTOTA — Colman-Egan picked up a road win Tuesday with a four set win over Canistota in high school volleyball action. Set scores were 22-25, 25-21, 25-21 and 25-21. 

Daniela Lee had a monstrous match for Colman-Egan with 22 kills, 22 digs, two assists and an ace. Elaina Rhode had 12 kills, four blocks, 21 digs and three aces. Presley Luze led with 27 digs while Lanie Mousel had 21 assists, 13 digs and an ace. Kaylee Voekler had a block and 25 assists. 

Ember Schenkel led Canistota with 13 kills to go along with five digs and two aces. Natalee Hofer and Bailey Spicer combined for 33 assists. Hofer also added five kills, two blocks and 10 digs for the Hawi


Menno 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

MENNO — Menno earned a straight sets win Tuesday as the girls swept Viborg-Hurley in high school volleyball action. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-10. 

Ashton Massey led the Menno attack with ten kills, two blocks and a dig. Joslynn Fischer had 19 assists and 11 digs to go along with two kills. Taylor Freier had eight kills, 14 digs and two aces. 

Charley Nelson led Viborg-Hurley with 20 digs and three assists. Jenna Graves and Mataya Vannorsdel each had an ace for Viborg-Hurley. 


Dell Rapids 3, Garretson 1

DELL RAPIDS — Class A No. 4 Dell Rapids defeated Garretson in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 24-26, 25-14 and 27-25.

Dell Rapids’ Madelynn Henry finished with 20 kills, two aces and three digs. Elin Schoenhard and Lauryn Kloth recorded 11 kills apiece. Schoenhard added two aces and two blocks. Kloth posted five blocks. Clara Justice had five kills and Alaina Wolff had a team-high 18 digs and five assists.

Garretson stats were not reported. 


Sioux Falls Lutheran 3, Centerville 0

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Lutheran swept Centerville in Tuesday high school volleyball play. The set scores were 25-16, 25-12 and 25-17

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s Tatum Beckman finished with 16 kills and seven aces. Madilyn Dinges added 13 kills, while Bella Stubkjaer recorded 15 digs and five aces. 

Centerville stats were not reported. 


Dakota Valley 3, West Central 0

HARTFORD — Dakota Valley earned a straight sets win over West Central in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

West Central was powered by Jocelyn Nilson’s 22 digs on defense. Other stat leaders for West Central Tuesday were Maddy Ingalls in kills (5), Addison Meadors in aces (3) and Cambree Ideker in blocks (2). Marissa Dobbs and Ellie Lienhard combined for 15 assists for West Central. 

Dakota Valley stats were not reported. 


Sioux Valley 3, Milbank 2

MILBANK — Sioux Valley edged Milbank in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-17 and 15-8.

Sioux Valley’s Kaedyn Sapp recorded 21 kills and 33 digs. Adison Renkly finished with 18 kills and four blocks. Allie Hofer added 16 kills. Caitlyn Cradduck and Machaela Gerasch had 30 assists apiece. Talya Vincent finished with 21 digs. Emma Gorvin and Keyra Krause recorded four blocks apiece.

For Milbank, Rachel Schulte finished with 24 kills, 19 digs and 14 assists. Skyler Skoog logged 12 kills and one ace. Shaylee Schuchard finished with six kills. Addisyn Krause added 21 assists. Ella Sandvig and Siera Wenzel had 16 digs apiece.


Madison 3, Arlington 1

ARLINGTON — Madison swept Arlington in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 22-25, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-18.

Madison’s Audrey Nelson finished with 27 kills and three solo blocks. Lydia Nelson added seven kills, while Karley Lurz logged four kills and two blocks. Karley Theede posted 42 assists. Callie McDermott added 24 digs and six aces. Amanda Vacanti had 17 digs and Grace Fiege had two aces. 

For Arlington, Addie Steffensen finished with 19 kills, 18 digs, one ace and one block. Jo Steffensen had eight kills and one block. Issie Steffensen recorded 35 assists. Harley Johnson recorded 21 digs and Madi Bacon added 16 digs. 


Brookings 3, Mitchell 2

MITCHELL — Brookings outlasted Mitchell in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-13, 25-22, 18-25 and 25-11.

Brookings’ Macy Even finished with 17 kills and 20 digs, while Rylee Thompson added 16 kills. Sydney Bebensee added 13 kills and 19 digs. Kymber Buys recorded 46 assists. Kylie Moe had 20 digs. Arielle Ferrell finished with three blocks and Tess Burns had four aces. 

For Mitchell, Sawyer Stoebner finished with 12 kills. Lauren VanOverschelde added eight kills and Halle Haring added seven kills. Haring had six blocks. Addie Siemsen posted 30 assists, 20 digs, three aces, four blocks and five kills. Paige Guthmiller added 16 digs and Tianna Meadows recorded four blocks.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 3, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Jefferson swept Sioux Falls O’Gorman in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 26-24, 25-19 and 25-16.

Jefferson’s Emory Brosnahan finished with nine kills and 16 digs. Isabel Simmons added eight kills and five digs. Lizzy Spah recorded six kills, while Presly Pastian added five kills, nine digs and 20 assists. Ella Kvernmo logged two aces, six kills, six assists and seven digs. Averi Schmitt added 13 digs and Cora Hokenstad had eight digs. 


Brandon Valley 3, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 0

BRANDON — Brandon Valley swept Sioux Falls Roosevelt in straight sets picking up a win in high school volleyball action Tuesday. Set scores were 25-18, 25-22, 26-24. 

Leading hitters for Brandon Valley were Abby Gruber (14) and Jersie Melcher (9). Melcher and Kennedi Boomsma each had two blocks. Riya Sheley dished out 34 assists with Lexi Gawarecki having four aces and nine digs.  

Sioux Falls Roosevelt stats were not reported.
