Wessington Springs 3, Corsica-Stickney 0

CORSICA — Wessington Springs swept Corsica-Stickney in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-14, 25-18 and 25-18.

 Corsica-Stickney’s Sophie DeLange finished with six kills, seven assists, two digs and one block. Braylee Bordewyk logged nine assists, five digs and five kills. Ashley Lefers finished with six digs. Brooklyn Bosma added four digs, one kill and one block. Jacey Kemp had 14 digs, four kills and two aces. Ali Wieczorek added two digs and Macayla Gerlach had two kills. Cali Vanden Hoek added 10 digs.

Wessington Springs stats were not reported.

 

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Highmore-Harrold 0 

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket swept Highmore-Harrold in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-22, 25-20 and 25-22.


Chester 3, Deubrook Area 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 2 Chester swept Deubrook Area in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-9, 25-14 and 25-12.

Chester’s Jacy Wolf recorded 13 kills, eight assists and 12 digs. Emmerson Eppard added nine kills and four aces. Lily VanHal had 24 assists and four aces. Emery Larson added 14 digs. 

For Deubrook Area, Kyarra Blum posted four kills and three blocks. Zoey Molengraaf added three kills and two blocks. Madalyn Bauman had six assists, while Kylee Johnson added four assists. Johnson and Rhiley Grenz posted seven digs apiece. Grenz recorded two aces.


Northwestern 3, Redfield 0 

REDFIELD — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Redfield in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-14 and 25-10.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven recorded 24 kills and two aces. Ana Ratigan recorded eight kills. Ella Boekelheide added 35 assists. Payton Grandpre posted four aces and 10 digs. Tara Blachford recorded 15 digs and three aces. Nikki Nickeson had two blocks.

For Redfield, Katie Rozell recorded six kills and Cecilia Suchor posted three kills. Chloe Zens added eight digs. 


Miller 3, Chamberlain 0

MILLER — Miller took care of business on Tuesday sweeping Chamberlain in three sets to pick up a volleyball win. Set scores were 25-8, 25-12 and 25-14. 

Powering Miller on Tuesday was Jolie Palmer who had five aces and a team leading 18 digs. Aleah Schlechter led Miller with ten kills while Shaylee Anderberg had seven kills, an ace and four digs. Heather Resel finished with 20 assists, six digs and an ace. 

Jovie VanDenBosch finished with four kills to lead Chamberlain. Grace VanderLey had two aces while Tobi Peterson had two blocks. Chesney Mutziger finished with six assists while Alexis Cronk had six digs. 


Centerville 3, Marty 0

CENTERVILLE — Centerville swept Marty in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-5, 25-7 and 25-11.

Centerville’s Thea Gust finished with nine kills, one block and one assist. Lillie Eide added five kills, six digs and two aces. Lilee Shearer had seven kills, five digs and one ace. Emma Marshall recorded seven kills, three digs, two blocks and one ace. Keira Austin added 26 assists and two aces. Kiylee Westra had one kill and two blocks. 

Marty stats were not reported. 


Mobridge-Pollock 3, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 0

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge-Pollock picked up a volleyball win Tuesday with a straight sets sweep of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. Set scores were 25-7, 25-4 and 25-9. 

Leading the way for Mobridge-Pollock was Raelyn Aberle who had a team leading 12 kills to go along with six digs. Reagan Weisbeck recorded 16 digs and logged her 1,000th career dig. 

Charley Henderson added 11 kills, an ace and recorded her 500th career kill. Katy Kemnitz and Sophia Overland both had 17 assists for the Tigers. Ryli Thompson added ten kills and six digs.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte stats were not reported. 


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

HITCHCOCK — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Sunshine Bible Academy in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-14 and 25-13.

Hitchcock-Tulare’s Katelyn Schroeder finished with 13 kills and three aces. Rebecca Huizenga added 10 kills. Lila Johnson finished with 28 assists, while Gracyn Bixler had seven aces, six digs and three assists. Cambree Hoekman added six digs. 

For SBA, Sadie Konechne finished with two kills, while Natasha Appel added one kill. Abby Hinman had two assists and Betra Amare posted seven aces. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Flandreau 2

FLANDREAU — Elkton-Lake Benton earned a win over Flandreau Tuesday in a five-set thriller. 

Set scores were 25-23, 25-19, 16-25, 24-26 and 15-12. 

Kylie Ramlo led the attack for Elkton-Lake Benton finishing with 14 kills and four blocks. Andrea Renkly added eight kills and three aces. Tevan Erickson had three aces, a block and 20 digs and Aubree Bales had 17 digs. 

Claire Sheppard led Flandreau with 20 kills and a block. Lily Klein had three aces and 25 digs to lead the Fliers in both of those categories. Lizzie Pavlis had nine kills while Abby Schoeberl finished with 38 assists. 


Colman-Egan 3, Howard 0

HOWARD — Class B No. 4 Colman-Egan swept Howard in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-9, 25-12 and 25-17.

Colman-Egan’s Daniela Lee finished with 14 kills, two blocks and two aces. Anna Zwart posted 13 kills. Lanie Mousel had 26 assists, while Kaylee Voelker had 14 assists and 17 digs. Presley Luze had 12 digs. Elaine Rhode had one block. 

For Howard, Abby Aslesen finished with seven kills and two blocks. Becca Feldhaus recorded five kills. Taryn Mentele had one ace and nine digs. Tana Hoyer finished with five assists and eight digs. Reese Rudebusch logged eight digs and four assists. 


Menno 3, Irene-Wakonda 0

MENNO — Menno swept Irene-Wakonda picked up a three-set sweep over Irene-Wakonda on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-19 and 25-22.

Menno’s Ashton Massey finished with 12 kills and three digs. Taylor Freier logged seven digs, four kills, two blocks and two aces. Joslynn Fischer finished with three kills, 17 assists, nine digs and four aces. Haylee Hall added eight assists and three digs. Maggie Miller finished with 21 digs and two aces. Ellyana Ulmer finished with two kills and nine digs. Lexie McNinch posted three kills and three blocks.

For Irene-Wakonda, Emerson Flynn finished with four kills, six assists, seven digs and one block. Zoey Anderson had two kills and 10 digs. Madison Orr posted three kills, 15 digs and two aces. Addison Brockmueller logged seven digs and two aces. Paige O’Daniel had three kills, two blocks and five digs. Mady Peterson posted three assists and two digs. 


Madison 3, Parker 0

MADISON — Madison swept Parker in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-12, 25-14 and 25-16.

Madison’s Audrey Nelson recorded 14 kills and five blocks. Nelson broke the Madison High School record for most career kills, surpassing 1,146 for her career. 

Amanda Vacanti added four aces, while Callie McDermott had two aces. Lydia Nelson had six kills. Keara Wagner posted six digs. Karley Theede finished with 23 assists. 

For Parker, Halle Berens posted 10 kills and seven digs. Jenna Van Velzen logged three kills and one ace. Braelyn Berens finished with two aces and eight digs. Mara Mohr logged 11 assists and Hannah Schaffer logged three assists. 


Canton 3, West Central 0

CANTON — Canton swept West Central in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-13 and 25-20.

West Central’s Kaia Gabbert logged five kills, while Marissa Dobbs added four kills and three assists. Morgan Driscoll recorded two aces and 11 digs. Jocelyn Nilson posted 25 digs and Ellie Lienhard had seven assists. Ella Harden added one ace and one block. Izzy McKinney had a block.

Canton stats were not reported. 


Sioux Falls Jefferson 3, Yankton 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Jefferson swept Yankton in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-16, 25-20 and 25-21.

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Isabel Simmons recorded 11 kills and six block assists. Lizzy Spah added eight kills, while Mya Hejl had seven kills and four digs. Presly Pastian logged 34 assists and 10 digs. Cora Hokenstad added 16 digs and two assists. Emory Brosnahan had 11 digs and four block assists. Averi Schmitt posted 10 digs. Ella Kvernmo had three kills and nine digs. 

Yankton stats were not reported.
