Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Corsica-Stickney 0

ARMOUR — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Corsica-Stickney in a Thursday high school volleyball match. 


Kimball/White Lake 3, Hanson 2

ALEXANDRIA — Kimball/White Lake edged Hanson a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-23, 15-25, 21-25, 25-18 and 15-13.

KWL’s Ryann Nielsen finished with 20 kills, 20 assists, 21 digs and 1.5 blocks. Harley Namanny added 15 kills, 17 digs and 35 assists. Rylee McCord finished with 30 digs, eight kills and two blocks. Lindy Keihn had six kills, four blocks and one ace. Elena Brennan posted five kills and four blocks. Sienna Gillen finished with 26 digs. Mariah Gosmire logged five kills and 4.5 blocks. Madison Meier had 24 digs.

For Hanson, Jersey Kampshoff had 27 assists, 12 digs and three aces. Kylie Haiar finished with seven kills, six digs and one block. Cadence Jarding logged 15 assists, seven digs and two aces. Jazzy Campbell totaled 13 kills and 18 digs. Claire Bridge posted 25 digs. Taziah Hawkins added 16 kills and 19 digs. Grace Arend posted four kills and one block, while Ava Doyle had five kills. 


Milbank 3, Britton-Hecla 0

BRITTON — Milbank earned a road volleyball win Thursday night with a three-set sweep over Britton-Hecla. Set scores were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-10.

Leading the way for Britton-Hecla Thursday was Emma Kraft who had a team-leading eight kills to go along with four blocks. Kaegan Fredrickson led the team with three aces while adding five kills and 13 digs. Heather Storbakken had 11 assists, 11 digs and a kill. Tiyanna Schott delivered six kills, two blocks and four block-assists. 

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte finished with 14 kills, 11 assists and three blocks. Skyler Skoog added seven kills and 13 digs. Shaylee Schuchard finished with five kills and one ace. Addison Krause recorded 21 assists. Ella Sandvig posted 12 digs and one ace. Siera Wenzl had 11 digs and Claire Snaza had three blocks. 


Burke 3, Boyd County, Neb., 0

BURKE — Burke picked up a Thursday night win in girls volleyball action with a three-set sweep of Boyd County, Nebraska. Set scores were 25-14, 25-16 and 25-9. 

Powering the Burke attack Thursday was Kailee Frank who had 17 kills, four aces and 12 digs. Paige Bull had nine kills and three  blocks with Emmie Hausmann adding five kills. Elle Johnson had a team-leading 18 digs to go along with five assists. Bridget Eliason led with 12 assists while Ava Sargent had 10.

Boyd County stats were not reported. 


Wilmot 3, Waverly-South Shore 1

WILMOT — The Wilmot girls picked up a girls volleyball win Thursday with a four-set win over Waverly-South Shore. Set scores were 25-14, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-15. 

Addison Heinje powered Wilmot with 18 kills and three aces. Paige Johnson had ten kills, an ace while Jada Cameron had six kills and an ace. Mya Heinje dished out a team-leading 31 assists while Stacia Redday had 10 assists and three kills. 

Waverly-South Shore stats were not reported. 


Hamlin 3, Redfield 0

REDFIELD — Hamlin swept Redfield in straIght sets Thursday night to earn a win in high school volleyball action. Set scores were 25-22, 27-25 and 26-24. 

Addison Neuendorf led Hamlin with 16 kills while also dishing out 15 assists and having four aces. Marissa Bawdon had 12 kills and a team-leading 18 assists. Grace Opdahl had 12 digs while Kayde Nebel had a team-leading two blocks and two block assists. 

Katie Rozell led the hitting attack for the Pheasants with nine kills while adding two blocks. Hayden Gall led with 16 assists with Chloe Zens contributing 23 digs. Charli Jungwirth led with three aces while Cecilia Suchor finished with seven kills. 


Dell Rapids 3, Lennox 0

DELL RAPIDS — Class A No. 3 Dell Rapids swept Lennox in straight sets Thursday to pick up a win in high school volleyball action. Set scores were 25-16, 25-15 and 25-16.

Madelynn Henry led the Dell Rapids hitters with 10 kills while adding two aces and nine digs. Setter Sophi Randall dished out 21 assists while having four kills. Lauryn Kloth finished with seven kills and five aces. Elin Schoenhard had four kills and a dig for Dell Rapids. 

Stats for Lennox were not reported. 


Flandreau 3, Sioux Valley 2 

VOLGA — Flandreau outlasted Sioux Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-25 and 15-11.

Flandreau’s Lizzie Pavlis posted 16 kills, four digs and five blocks. Claire Sheppard finished with 15 kills, seven digs and three blocks. Sadie Iott added 10 kills and five digs. Abby Schoeberl logged eight kills and 10 digs. Lily Klein recorded five kills and 27 digs. Addy Hammer recorded 17 digs and Hayden Neises had 12 digs. Iott had a team-high four aces.

For Sioux Valley, Kaedyn Sapp finished with 20 kills and 26 digs. Allie Hofer and Adison Renkly finished with 12 kills and nine digs apiece. Renkly had three solo blocks. Talya Vincent recorded 15 digs. Sunny Hesby had 30 assists. 


Deuel 3, Great Plains Lutheran 1

DEUEL — Deuel took care of their home court advantage Thursday picking up a four-set win over Great Plains Lutheran in high school volleyball action. Set scores were 25-18, 12-25, 25-22 and 25-19.

Deuel’s Annika Kriz led the way with nine kills, an ace and 17 digs. Josie Anderson finished with eight kills and 16 assists. Hope Bjerke had a team-leading two blocks while Kaitlyn Gubrud had six kills and 10 digs. 

Olivia Holman led Great Plains Lutheran with 11 kills and four assisted blocks. Kaitlyn Rawerts had 15 assists, an ace and 11 digs. 


Deubrook Area 3, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 0

WHITE — Deubrook Area swept Oldham-Ramona-Rutland in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 27-25, 25-6 and 25-19.

Deubrook Area’s Zoey Molengraaf finished with 11 kills and one block, while Kyarra Blum posted 10 kills and two blocks. Hanna Kjelden had seven kills, seven digs and one block. Mataya Gouws had seven kills. Madalyn Bauman logged 17 assists. Delaney Pedersen had 11 digs. Bauman and Pedersen had two aces apiece. 

For ORR, Julia Trygstad had two blocks, eight kills and 10 digs. Bella Malisch had seven kills, while Alivia Padgett had 15 digs. Rylan Pearson had 12 digs. Emily Matson had 12 assists and Pearson had nine assists. 


Harrisburg 3, Sioux Falls Jefferson 2

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg edged Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Jefferson in a Thursday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-17, 16-25, 25-21, 22-25 and 15-12.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 29 kills. Maggie Meister finished with three aces and 26 digs. Josalyn Samuels recorded 44 assists and four blocks. Kennedy Kokenge added 14 digs. Karalynn Leach finished with eight blocks. 

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Emory Brosnahan and Ella Kvernmo finished with 12 kills apiece. Presly Pastian had 40 assists, while Cora Hokenstad added 23 digs. Brooke Bowen finished with two aces, while Audrey Simmons and Mya Hejl had five blocks apiece. 


Aberdeen Central 3, Brandon Valley 2

BRANDON — Aberdeen Central picked up a hard-fought, five-set road win over Brandon Valley in girls volleyball action Thursday. Set scores were 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 25-15 and 15-13.

Leading hitters for Brandon Valley were Jersie Melcher and Jayaunna Stroh who both had 15. Stroh added 13 digs and an ace while Sydey Benson had a team-leading 21 digs. Riya Sheley finished with 49 assists. Kennedi Boomsma led with five blocks while Sheley and Ashley Ertelt each had three blocks. 

Aberdeen Central stats were not reported.
