The Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon girls have just seven girls out for wrestling this season, and yet the team is ranked as the eighth best team in all of South Dakota. 

It doesn’t hurt to have two top ranked wrestlers in the mix. 

Britney Rueb is top-ranked at 132 this season while her teammate Peyton Hellmann is top ranked at (138). Hadlee Kracht is in the Honorable Mention category at (126) this week. 

The Pierre girls continue to look like the team to beat as the Governors picked up 183 points in this week’s poll, ahead of Canton (147) and Watertown (102). Lakota Tech (100) and Harrisburg (87) round out the top-five teams. 

The Governors now have four top-ranked athletes as Shaylee Speck moved to No. 1 at (100). Sydney Uhrig (107), Dani Ringstmeyer (120) and Abbi Lewis (152) are all top-ranked in their respective weight classes.
