WATERTOWN — Aberdeen Central’s Olivia Braun is a back-to-back state champion.

The Golden Eagle senior shot an even par in 36 holes at Cattail Crossing Golf Course to claim the Class AA state girls golf championship on Tuesday.

Braun shot 72 on both days of the state tournament, totaling seven birdies across the two-day tournament.

O’Gorman’s Ari Jacobs shot one-over-par to take second place, while Aberdeen Central’s Emma Dohrer (+3), and Central’s Kyley Wirebaugh and Erin Hurd (+5) rounded out the top-5 scoring.

Aberdeen Central also won the team championship for the second year in a row shooting a 603 on the tournament, ahead of O’Gorman (626), Mitchell (634), Sioux Falls Lincoln (651) and Brandon Valley (677).
