SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Christian’s Brant Wassenaar announced his commitment to play basketball at Drake University on Friday.

Wassenaar, a 6-foot-4 guard in the Class of 2027, powered the Chargers to a runner-up finish at the Class A state tournament back in March.

The Class A player of the year is a two-time all-state first team selection, averaging 22.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists this past season.

Wassenaar also held in-state offers to South Dakota State and South Dakota.
