HARRISBURG — The Brandon Valley boys and Sioux Falls Lincoln girls captured team titles at Thursday’s Metro Conference Meet. 

The Lynx boys finished with 163 points, finishing ahead of Harrisburg (139) and Sioux Falls Lincoln (96). The Patriot girls finished with 172 points, while Brandon Valley (133) and Sioux Falls O’Gorman (104) finished just behind. 

Brandon Valley’s Jeremiah Donahoe won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.69) and the 300-meter hurdles (:39.67). 

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Samuel Castle was a double winner in the 800-meter run (2:05.85) and 1,600-meter run (4:33.80).

Brandon Valley’s Julian Watson claimed the 400-meter dash (:48.65), the 200-meter dash (:21.90) and placed second in the 100-meter dash (:10.97). 

Sioux Falls O’Gorman’s Manny Struck captured the triple jump (42-10.5) and high jump (6-5). 

In girls action, Brandon Valley’s Meghan Walker captured the 100-meter dash (:12.43), 200-meter dash (:25.15) and 400-meter dash (:59.92). 

Sioux Falls O’Gorman Alea Hardie captured two distance races — the 800-meter run (2:20.49) and 1,600-meter run (4:59.98).

Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Dymond Nave was a double winner in the 100-meter hurdles (:15.43) and 300-meter hurdles (:46.68).
