Chester's Jovi Wolf earns three first-place finishes at home meet

CHESTER — Chester’s Jovi Wolf was a triple winner at Tuesday’s Chester Invitational. 

The senior won the 100-meter dash (:11.43), 200-meter dash (:22.62) and long jump (20-7). Wolf’s performance helped Chester finish second with 109 points, while Baltic (133) won the boys team race. 

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket’s Jeffery Boschee won the high jump (6-0), finished second in the long jump (19-11) and placed third in the 300-meter hurdles (:45.10).

McCrossan’s Ethan Hartung won the 3,200-meter run (11:23.39) and placed second in the 1,600-meter run (5:01.79).

The Colman-Egan girls won the meet with 126.5 points, finishing ahead of Chester (96) for the team title. Colman-Egan's Daniela Lee placed third in the 100-meter dash (:12.70) and 200-meter dash (:27.04). Colman-Egan's Brynlee Landis placed second in the 400-meter dash (1:04.98) and fourth in the long jump (14-9).

Colman-Egan's Lanie Mousel finished second in the triple jump (30-7) and third in the long jump (14-9.25).

Parker’s Braelyn Berens was a double winner in the 100-meter dash (:12.66) and 200-meter dash (:26.37). 

Chester’s Emery Larson won the 800-meter run (5:15.62) and 1,600-meter run (5:15.62). Chester's Emmerson Eppard (2:31.76) and Addison Bates (2:34.60) placed second and third, respectively, in the 800-meter run. 

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket’s Elizabeth Boschee won the 100-meter hurdles (:17.29) and 300-meter hurdles (:50.81). Boschee also placed second in the long jump (14-10.5).

The Parker girls won the 400-meter relay (:52.51) and 800-meter relay (1:49.83).
