Class AA Boys Basketball Roundup - Sioux Falls Lincoln powers past Harrisburg for third place

Sioux Falls Lincoln 81, Harrisburg 52

RAPID CITY — Sam Ericsson and Sam DeGroot combined for 34 points as Sioux Falls Lincoln took down Harrisburg for third place at the Class AA state tournament Saturday.

Ericsson and DeGroot each tallied 17 points, including five rebounds and three assists from DeGroot in the win. Brody Schafer had 14 points and seven assists while Deondre Painter tallied 11 points as well.

Harrisburg’s Stellen Larson totaled 22 points, six rebounds and two assists while Kaden Anderson and Nolan Krull each tallied eight points in the loss.


Spearfish 61, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 55

RAPID CITY — Kamren Davis’ 24-points lifted Spearfish over Sioux Falls O’Gorman for seventh place at the Class AA state basketball tournament.

Davis finished with 24 points, four rebounds and two assists, Bennett Kortan added 11 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, Cooper Gibbs collected nine points and nine rebounds while Dylon Doren netted eight points, seven rebounds and five assists in the win.

OG’s Austin Terveen led the Knights with 17 points and five rebounds, Nyun Dut added 10 points and five rebounds, Caleb Terveen had seven points while Mason Clark and Kamden Cisse each tallied six points in the loss.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 61, Huron 60

RAPID CITY — Colby Nuttbrock’s 20-point night powered Sioux Falls Jefferson past Huron in the Class AA consolation championship Saturday.

Nuttbrock finished with 20 points and six rebounds for the Cavaliers, Jase Unzen added 13 points and six rebounds, Damaris Fields had nine points, while Keuk Kuek collected seven points in the win.

Huron’s Blake Ellwin finished with a game-high 24 points, five rebounds and five assists, Anderson Porisch tallied 13 points, Davis Chase had nine points and seven rebounds, while Myles Ellwein netted eight points in the loss.
