Hamlin 62, Flandreau 47

FLANDREAU — Jackson Wadsworth and Aidan Abraham combined for 32 points as Class A No. 8 Hamlin took down Flandreau in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Wadsworth had 17 points while Abraham collected 15 points in the win.

For Flandreau, Luke Sheppard led the Fliers with 23 points while Kody Kneebone had nine points in the loss.


Castlewood 54, Elkton-Lake Benton 48

ELKTON — Three players posted double figures as Class B No. 1 Castlewood outlasted Elkton-Lake Benton in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Leonard Wernke led with 19 points, Kamden Keszler tallied 12 points while Will Aderhold collected 12 points as well for the Warriors.

For ELB, Myles Poindexter netted 15 points and 10 rebounds, Joseph Nibbe added eight points and five steals, Berkley Hemmen and Colt Beck each collected seven points while Lane Schindler had six points in the loss.

 

De Smet 71, Wessington Springs 53

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 8 De Smet to a Tuesday boys basketball win over Class B No. 2 Wessington Springs.

Noah Luethmers finished with 26 points, four assists, three 3-pointers and three rebounds. Grant Wilkinson added 19 points and 15 rebounds. Carter Wilkinson totaled 19 points, five 3-pointers and four rebounds. Slayten Wilkinson had six points, five assists, five steals and 10 rebounds.

For Wessington Springs, Colby Flowers had 21 points and nine rebounds. Wesley Molnar added 15 points, five assists, three steals, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. Grady Grant posted nine points.


Platte-Geddes 67, Kimball/White Lake 22

PLATTE — Four players scored in double figures as Platte-Geddes ran away from Kimball/White Lake in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Jameson Lead had 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals for the Black Panthers, Jye Bailey added 14 points and five boards, Tyce VanderPol collected 12 points, Maddux Van Zee had 12 points and five steals while Isaac Leader netted nine points and six rebounds in the win.

For KWL, Colt Leiferman had 11 points while Keaton Christensen added four points in the loss.


Wolsey-Wessington 52, Iroquois-Lake Preston 50

IROQUOIS — Wolsey-Wessington outlasted Iroquois-Lake Preston in a nail-biting victory Tuesday.

WW’s Caleb Richmond had 22 points while Jett Kleinsasser added nine points in the win.

For ILP, Carter Arbeiter tallied 15 points and six rebounds, Lucas Peskey netted 13 points and six rebounds, Rexton Blue had eight points and two steals while Brycen Blue tallied eight points in the loss.


Viborg-Hurley 50, Bridgewater-Emery 44

HURLEY — Brady Schroedermeier’s 23 points powered Class B No. 4 Viborg-Hurley over Bridgewater-Emery in boys basketball action Tuesday. Schroedermeier ended with 23 points, five assists, four steals, four rebounds and two blocks, Jake Austin added 16 points, five assists and three rebounds while Braydyn Morrison had six points in the win.

For BE, Ben Weber had 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists while Holden Wollman added 11 points in the loss.


Scotland/Menno 52, Bon Homme 49

SCOTLAND — Izayah Ulmer’s 29-points powered Scotland/Menno past Bon Homme in high school boys basketball action Tuesday.

Ulmer finished with 29 points and three steals while Micah Goehring and Hunter Yosten each had six points in the win.

For BH, Zach Humpal collected 20 points, Logan Stark added 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Madden Merkwan netted seven points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists.


Parkston 51, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 34

PARKSTON — Brycen Bruening totaled 25 points as Parkston took down Tripp-Delmont/Armour in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Bruening led the Trojans with 25 points and nine rebounds while Sean Deckert added 10 points in the win.

TDA’s Daxton Goehring had six rebounds while Ashton Koster tallied five boards in the loss.


McCook Central/Montrose 48, Hanson 38

ALEXANDRIA — Dawson Dorr’s 18 point double-double lifted McCook Central/Montrose over Hanson in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Dorr netted 18 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks while Zane McCormick added 12 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in the win.

For Hanson, Rhett Marek had 11 points, Conner Endorf tallied nine points, three rebounds and three assists while Cole DeWald and Jett Jager each had five points in the loss.


Corsica-Stickney 50, Avon 47

CORSICA — Jett Kemp’s double-double powered Corsica-Stickney past Avon in a narrow boys basketball victory Tuesday.

Kemp collected 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in the win, Jaxon Feenstra had nine points while Aiden Clites totaled eight points in the win.

For Avon, Zander Fathke had 16 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, Al’Shamon Gunter had 12 points and 11 boards, Brenson Ratzlaff added 10 points while Dominic Doom recorded eight rebounds and two steals in the loss.


Faulkton Area 56, Sunshine Bible Academy 23

FAULKTON — Korbin Stark netted 23 points as Faulkton Area defeated Sunshine Bible Academy in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Stark totaled 23 points, five boards, six steals and four assists, Spencer Melius added 10 points and three assists, Logan Niederbaumer had eight points and four boards, Henry Bossly collected seven points and four assists while Weston Senn had six points, six rebounds and three steals in the win.

For SBA, Jonah Pribyl netted 10 points and nine rebounds while Isaac Hague added seven points in the loss.


Ipswich 53, North Central 44

IPSWICH — Three players scored in double figures to power Ipswich past North Central in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Jaxon Holt led the Tigers with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals, Hayden Schlosser had 12 points and five boards, Shay Knust totaled 11 points, six assists and four steals while Kyle Hettich had nine points, five boards and two steals in the win.

North Central’s stats were not reported.


Deubrook Area 60, Deuel 27

WHITE — Braxton Bednarek, Isaac Gass and Chance Schoenfeld combined for 48 points as Deubrook Area ran away from Deuel in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Bednarek led the charge with 19 points, Gass collected 15 points while Schoenfeld totaled 14 points in the win.

For Deuel, Troy Jenson tallied eight points while Jaxtin Winter had 10 points in the loss.


Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 56, Hitchcock-Tulare 46

WOONSOCKET — McCoy Schulz and Sam Baruth combined for 40 points as Sanborn Central-Woonsocket defeated Hitchcock-Tulare in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Schulz had 23 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in the win, Baruth added 17 points and 10 boards while Landen Jensen totaled nine points for the Blackhawks.

For HT, Patrick Maynard had 15 points while Devin Enander tallied 11 points in the loss.


Madison 55, Tri-Valley 31

MADISON — Three players posted double figures in Madison’s boys basketball victory over Tri-Valley Tuesday.

Henry Veenhof led with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists, Nolan Nielsen had 11 points and three rebounds, Ethan Sims collected 12 points while Casyn Crabtree had six points and five boards in the win.

For TV, Brady Jewett had 15 points and four rebounds, Ty Oyen netted six points and five boards while Dante Nehman collected five points in the loss.
