PARKSTON — Wall defeated McCook Central/Montrose in boys basketball action at the Parkston Classic on Tuesday.

Wall’s Emmet Dinger recorded 25 points. Teelan Kjerstad scored 16 points. Dawson Handcock finished with 13 points. Jace Mohr added nine points. 

For MCM, Mason Sabers had 18 points and four rebounds. Ben Wiebersick and Jackson Schmidt scored seven points apiece. Wiebersick had eight rebounds. 

Dakota Valley 63, Winner 47

PARKSTON — Class A No. 3 Dakota Valley defeated Winner in boys basketball action at the Parkston Classic on Tuesday.

DV’s Luke Bruns finished with 22 points and seven rebounds. Drew Lukken had 13 points and four rebounds. Payton Sorensen had 12 points. 

For Winner, Carter Craven finished with 15 points and seven rebounds. Ryder Halligan and Shawn Hammerbeck scored 10 points apiece. Hammerbeck added nine rebounds. Halligan had four rebounds. 

Beresford 64, Centerville 62 (OT)

CENTERVILLE — Beresford clipped Centerville in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Beresford’s Malachi James finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. Aidan Hamm added 13 points.

Centerville’s Aiden Bobzin finished with 18 points. Miles Eide scored 17 points and hit a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime. Alec Austin scored 12 points. 

Gayville-Volin 58, Bon Homme 28

GAYVILLE — Gayville-Volin rolled past Bon Homme for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

GV’s Spencer Karstens recorded 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Preston Karstens scored 14 points. Wyatt Mehlhaf and Nate Selchert had eight points apiece.

For Bon Homme, Madden Merkwan scored 11 points and Devin Krueger had six points.
