Gregory 56, Avon 46

GREGORY — Gregory pulled away from Avon for a Tuesday girls basketball win.

Gregory’s Cassidy Keiser logged 26 points, while Jessy Jo VanDerWerff added 16 points. Asia VanDerWerff posted nine points and Regan Graesser finished with six points. 

Avon’s Courtney Sees posted 20 points, while Jordyn Voight scored eight points. Alexis Vanderlei and Lila Vanderlei scored seven and six points, respectively.  


Scotland 39, Bridgewater-Emery 14

SCOTLAND — Scotland raced past Bridgewater-Emery for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Scotland’s Jenna Vitek led with 14 points and six steals, while Trinity Bietz had seven points and 11 rebounds. Martina DeBoer added five points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Bridgewater-Emery was led by Oakley Weber with five points, while Hayden Hofer added six rebounds.


Centerville 58, Canistota 24

CANISTOTA — Centerville used a 24-8 third quarter to pull away from Canistota for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Centerville’s Bailey Hansen led with 11 points and five rebounds, while Mackenzie Meyer had 10 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Lillie Eide, Thea Gust, and Keira Austin each had eight points, while Makayla Heesch added seven points, six assists, and five rebounds.

Canistota’s Kayla Papendick tallied 14 points, while Hannah Hoffman added six points.


Howard 63, Arlington 45

HOWARD — Abby Aslesen and Kate Connor combined for 41 points and 25 rebounds to power Howard to a Tuesday girls basketball win over Arlington. 

Aslesen finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Connor added 20 points and 14 boards. Canyon Kidd and Rylee Rudebusch logged five points apiece. 

Arlington’s Addalyn Steffenson finished with 13 points and hit four 3-pointers. Jolyssa Steffenson recorded 10 points and four assists. Harley Johnson added eight points and four steals. Ellisyn Vincent finished with six points, while Jaelyn Huntimer posted five points and six rebounds. 


Garretson 47, Tri-Valley 31

GARRETSON — Garretson outlasted Tri-Valley for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Garretson’s Reagan Altman and Adi Fink each had 12 points, while Jordyn Williams tallied nine points. Kylie Christensen logged nine boards, while Logan Bly added six points, five rebounds, six steals, and three assists.

Tri-Valley’s Lauren Grinde led with 13 points, while Hailey Sorenson added five rebounds.


Lennox 50, Dakota Valley 45

LENNOX — Lennox held off Dakota Valley for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lennox was led by Dani Highum with 19 points and five rebounds, while Ryan Hanssen tallied 12 points and three boards. Andie Peters added 11 points and three boards.

Dakota Valley’s Melina Snoozy recorded 16 points and three rebounds, while Ella Reifenrath added 13 points and 10 rebounds.


Waubay/Summit 54, Webster Area 44

WAUBAY — Waubay/Summit picked up a girls basketball win over Webster Area on Tuesday.

Waubay/Summit was led by Faith Larson with 17 points, while Eva Benike recorded 16 points. Kailee Berger tallied 15 points, while Aubrey Strang added six points.

Webster Area’s Carrington Hanson led with 16 points, while Harley Johnson tallied eight points. Katie Braun and Erin Sannes each had six points.


Florence-Henry 60, Deuel 28

HENRY — Florence-Henry erupted for 41 first half points on the way to a 60-28 win over Deuel on Tuesday. 

Florence-Henry was led by Caylin Kelly who scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Taylor Watson and Katelyn Klitzke each had ten points for the Falcons. Trinity Watson added nine points and five rebounds while Haley Hlavacek chipped in four points and a rebound. 

Deul was led by Josie Anderson and Harley Hennings who both scored 12 points. Jaycee Hourigan and Kaitlyn Gubrud each had two points for Deuel. 


Leola/Frederick Area 50, Sunshine Bible Academy 13

MILLER — Sofia Losure and Laura Sumption combined for 34 points to power Leola/Frederick Area to a girls basketball win over Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

Losure finished with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Sumption added 16 points, five rebounds and four steals. Chloe Arneson eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals. 

SBA’s Betra Amare posted six points and six rebounds. Annaliese VanZee added four points and 10 rebounds.  


Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 50, Great Plains Lutheran 39

WATERTOWN — Julia Trygstad and Bella Malisch combined for 26 points as Oldham-Ramona/Rutland earned a win over Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday. 

Trygstad finished with 14 points while Malisch scored 12 points. Brooklyn Hageman added nine points while Paige Hanson and Brooklyn Riedel each scored seven points. 

Olivia Holmen paced Great Plains Lutheran with nine points. Madeline Prahl scored six points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Abby Kjenstad added eight points while Kate Holmen had seven points and five rebounds.
