Hanson 55, Corsica-Stickney 46

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson held off Corsica-Stickney for a boys basketball victory on Friday.

Noah Price led the Beavers with 22 points, while Luke Haiar added 14 points. Ethan Cheeseman netted 10 points and Jackson Jarding scored five points. Cheeseman had six rebounds. 

Corsica-Stickney’s Taven Burke scored 16 points and Cole Feenstra added 11 points. Tyson Wentland had six points. 


Rapid City Stevens 60, Mitchell 59 

MITCHELL — Jaden Haefs hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Rapid City Stevens to a boys basketball win over Class AA No. 4 Mitchell on Friday.

Nate Kindred led Stevens with 21 points, while Haefs added 19 points and Charles Christensen had eight points. 

Mitchell’s Caden Hinker scored 15 points, while Dylan Soulek added 14 points. Charlie McCardle had 12 points and seven rebounds. Steele Morgan had 11 points. Hinker and Morgan collected five rebounds apiece.

Winner 49, Mobridge-Pollock 30

MOBRIDGE — Class A No. 3 Winner picked up a boys basketball win over Mobridge-Pollock on Friday.

Blake Volmer led the Warriors with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Ethan Bartels tallied 14 points and six rebounds. 

Mobridge-Pollock was led by Jackson Eisemann with 10 points and five rebounds.


White River 75, New Underwood 38

NEW UNDERWOOD — Class B No. 2 White River coasted to a boys basketball win over New Underwood on Friday.

Dylan Marshall led White River with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Joe Sayler added 19 points, six steals and four rebounds. 


Potter County 73, Highmore-Harrold 36

GETTYSBURG — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 5 Potter County picked up a boys basketball win over Highmore-Harrold on Friday. 

Grant Luikens led the Battlers with 25 points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Cooper Logan added 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Seth Sharp posted 12 points and eight boards. Drake Bassett finished with seven points and Alex Tanner collected eight rebounds.

Highmore-Harrold’s Trake Cowan finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Carter LaMont added nine points and four rebounds. Treyton Knox posted seven points and seven rebounds. Carson Stephenson had six rebounds, while Bryce Bourk added five boards. 


Wessington Springs 71, James Valley Christian 61

HURON — Four players scored in double figures as Wessington Springs picked up a boys basketball win over James Valley Christian on Friday.

Mason Schelske scored 27 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds, while Cade Mohling finished with 15 points. Blake Larson chipped in 13 points and Brock Krueger added 12 points.

JVC’s Landon Wager scored 15 points and five assists, while Landon Wallman netted 14 points. Dax Frandsen finished with 13 points and Ethan Bartholow added 10 points.

 

North Central 64, Sunshine Bible Academy 31

MILLER — North Central used a 19-3 third quarter to run past Sunshine Bible Academy in a boys basketball game on Friday.

Bryce Beitelspacher scored 22 points and five steals, while Colton Mohr tallied nine points. Ashton Hartling and Ben Beadle each added six points.

SBA’s Daniel Gerbracht scored 13 points, while Nolan Triebwasser added eight points.

Groton Area 83, Deuel 68

CLEAR LAKE — Four players scored in double figures to lift Groton Area to a boys basketball win over Deuel on Friday.

Kaden Kurtz scored 28 points, while Tate Larson finished with 14 points. Jacob Zak netted 13 points, while Wyatt Hearmen tallied 11 points. Lane Tietz and Jayden Zak added eight and seven points, respectively.

Deuel’s Zane Bingham scored 19 points, while Cooper Schiernbeck netted 17 points. Trey Maaland chipped in 15 points, while Naethan Lovre added nine points. 


Howard 68, Arlington 47

ARLINGTON — Three players scored in double figures to lift Howard to a boys basketball win over Arlington on Friday. 

Kolt Koepsell finished with 19 points and eight rebounds. Jace Sifore finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Brayden Hinker added 11 points and four rebounds. Luke Koepsell logged nine points and four assists, while Will Maier had five points. 

Arlington’s Ryker Erstad tallied 18 points, six steals and four assists. Caden Letsche posted 14 points, five rebounds and four 3-pointers. Britt Carlson posted seven points and nine rebounds. Blake Madsen recorded five rebounds. 

 

Hamlin 66, Britton-Hecla 29

HAYTI — Hamlin jumped out to a 28-14 halftime lead en route to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Hamlin’s Tyson Stevenson finished with 14 points and hit four 3-pointers. Brenna Keszler logged 13 points and Easton Neuendorf had 10 points. Evan Stormo and Jackson Wadsworth added six points apiece. Rylan Bawdon scored five points.

BH’s Ashton Mills and Gage Storley had seven points apiece. Aidan Fredrickson scored five points.


De Smet 71, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 51

RAMONA — Damon Wilkinson and Rett Osthus combined for 49 points and 20 rebounds to lift Class B No. 1 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Wilkinson finished with 29 points and 12 boards, while Osthus added 20 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four 3-pointers. Blake Van Regenmorter had eight points and nine rebounds for De Smet, which trailed 36-35 at halftime. The Bulldogs outscored ORR 36-15 in the second half. Tory Holland and Kadyn Fast scored six points apiece. Fast dished out five assists. 

ORR’s Orion Albertson scored 19 points, while Will Olson added 11 points. Will Matson finished with 10 points, eight steals and five rebounds. Isaac Trygstad had six points and six rebounds. 


Pierre 72, Watertown 65

PIERRE — Lincoln Kienholz scored his 1,000th career point as Pierre edged Watertown in boys basketball action on Friday.

Kienholz led the Governors with 35 points, while Jett Zabel and Matthew Hanson scored 12 points apiece. Zabel grabbed nine boards, while Hanson added six rebounds. 

Watertown’s Drew Norberg netted 31 points and grabbed nine boards. Cole Holden had 11 points and Reese Stark scored seven points. Kohen Kranz had five points. 


Tea Area 83, Elk Point-Jefferson 52

ELK POINT — Tea Area canned a school-record 16 3-pointers in a boys basketball win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Friday.

Cael Lundin led the Titans with 25 points, six rebounds, six assists and five 3-pointers. Jeff Worth added 18 points, six assists and five 3-pointers. Jonah Kocer recorded 13 points and three 3-pointers. Alex Pies posted eight points and two 3-pointers. Klayton Sattler added five rebounds. 

EPJ’s Chance Fornia netted 11 points, while Easton Kempf had nine points. Evan Fornia finished with seven points, while Canon Kempf and Jakob Scarmon had five points apiece. 


Dakota Valley 71, Madison 40

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Three players scored in double figures as Class A No. 1 Dakota Valley raced past Madison to win a boys basketball game on Friday.

Isaac Bruns led the Panthers with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaxon Hennies tallied 15 points. Randy Rosenquist finished with 13 points, 10 assists, and five steals. Sam Faldmo added seven points.

Madison was led by Aspen Dahl with 16 points, while Nate Ricke added 10 points and six rebounds.  


Leola/Frederick Area 56, Herreid/Selby Area 48

FREDERICK — Leola/Frederick Area held off Herreid/Selby Area for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Mason Hinz led the Titans with 21 points, while Hans Lapka added 11 points. 


Canistota 63, Colman-Egan 34

COLMAN — Four players scored in double figures as Canistota cruised past Colman-Egan for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Tage Ortman scored a game-high 16 points, while Isiah Robertson finished with 14 points, five steals, and four assists. Tye Merrill tallied 12 points, while Brandon Kjetland added 10 points and eight rebounds.

CE was led by Ben Zwart with 14 points, while Antonio Manzano added eight points.


Huron 61, Rapid City Central 55

HURON — Four players scored in double figures as Huron edged Rapid City Central in boys basketball action on Friday. 

Jayden Beck sored a team-high 13 points and grabbed six rebounds. Max Kranzler and Dawsyn Rogers scored 12 points apiece. Reilyn Zavesky logged 10 points and 10 boards. Blake Ellwein posted seven points, while Cade McNeil had four points and six rebounds. 

Rapid City Central’s Cael Meisman recorded 17 points and five boards. Jace Brown and Jet Janvrin scored 12 and 11 points, respectively. Keishawn Beasley had nine points, while Reno Lowe added six points. 


Harrisburg 74, Spearfish 37

HARRISBURG — 11 players scored as Harrisburg cruised past Spearfish for a boys basketball win on Friday. 

Ethan Determan led the Tigers with 15 points, while Gavin Aasheim and Jacoby Mehrman each added 12 points.

Spearfish was led by Ryan Heinert with 13 points.


Girls scores

Winner 63, Mobridge-Pollock 48

MOBRIDGE — Bella Swedlund and Kelsey Sachtjen combined for 43 points to lift Winner to a girls basketball win over Mobridge-Pollock on Friday.

Swedlund led the Warriors with 28 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. Sachtjen added 15 points and seven rebounds. Josey Kludt finished with nine points, while Ellie Brozik had five points. 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Emma Keller logged 18 points, four rebounds and four 3-pointers. Mariah Goehring logged 10 points. Reagan Weisbeck finished with eight points, while Landyn Henderson added six points, five boards and four assists. Heidi Olson grabbed six rebounds. 


Gregory 44, Bon Homme 39

GREGORY — Gregory edged Bon Homme in a girls basketball game on Friday.

Brooklynn Kenzy led the Gorillas with 16 points, while Asia VanDerWerff added seven points.

BH was led by Olivia Bares with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Erin Heusinkveld added nine points and four steals. 


Dakota Valley 67, Madison 37

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Dakota Valley coasted past Madison for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Rylee Rosenquist led the Panthers with 17 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Peyton Tritz finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Jorja VanDenHul added 12 points and four steals.

No stats were reported for Madison.

 

North Central 36, Sunshine Bible Academy 25

MILLER — North Central picked up a girls basketball win over Sunshine Bible Academy on Friday.

Brittney Frickson led the Thunder with 21 points, 12 steals, and eight rebounds. Ella Batie added six points.

SBA was led by Jakki Burma with nine points and eight rebounds. Aja Paul added seven points and 12 rebounds.

Elkton-Lake Benton 55, Milbank 49

MILBANK — Rachael Krog and Trevan Erickson combined for 39 points as Elkton-Lake Benton edged Milbank for a girls basketball win on Friday.

Krog finished with 24 points and eight steals, while Erickson tallied 15 points and eight rebounds. Kylie Ramlo added nine points and eight rebounds.

Milbank’s Maurina Street scored 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Claire Snaza tallied 10 points. Isabella Anderson and Tyra Berry each added eight points.


Groton Area 49, Deuel 31

CLEAR LAKE — A 17-5 second quarter propelled Groton Area to a girls basketball win over Deuel on Friday.

Brooke Gengerke led the Tigers with 19 points, while Alyssa Thaler contributed 13 points. Kennedy Hansen added eight points.

Deuel’s Harley Hennings scored 10 points, while Haley Winter added nine points and seven rebounds. 

 

Sisseton 53, Florence/Henry 46

HENRY — Sisseton outscored Florence/Henry 18-3 in the fourth quarter to pick up a girls basketball win on Friday.

Krista Langager finished with 15 points, while Hannah Leverson scored 13 points. Emmalee Nielsen and Ruby Rice each tallied 11 points.

Florence/Henry’s Caylin Kelly scored 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Trinity Watson finished with 11 points. Taylor Watson netted nine points, while Reese Schmidt added seven points. Carlie Moe grabbed eight boards. 

Rapid City Central 42, Huron 33

RAPID CITY — Class AA No. 5 Rapid City Central outscored Huron 11-6 in the fourth quarter to secure a girls basketball win on Friday. 

Denna Smith led the Cobblers with 12 points, while Josie Hill and Sadie Glade scored 10 points apiece. Aaliyah Jones had five points. 

Huron’s Isabelle Ellwein scored 14 points and hit four 3-pointers. Hamtyn Heinz finished with 10 points. 


Rapid City Stevens 69, Mitchell 35

RAPID CITY — Jayda McNabb and Jillian Delzer combined for 33 points to lift Class AA No. 3 Rapid City Stevens to a girls basketball win over Mitchell on Friday.

McNabb finished with 17 points and six steals, while Delzer added 15 points and five rebounds. Taaliyah Porter and Macey Wathen logged nine points apiece. Ella Kieffer scored six points, while Megan Balhoun had five points and six boards. Bailee Sobczak had eight points. 

Mitchell’s Kaitlyn Christensen and Taylor Giblin scored 10 points apiece. Delaney Degen added five points. 


Spearfish 49, Harrisburg 36

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures to lift Spearfish to a girls basketball win over Harrisburg on Friday.

Spearfish’s Tayler Duncan and Mya Kochuten scored 13 points apiece, while Jozie Dana added 12 points. 

Harrisburg’s Emilee Boyer had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
