Sioux Valley 44, Flandreau 35

VOLGA — Class A No. 3 Sioux Valley held off Flandreau for a boys basketball win on Thursday.


White River 91, Wall 61

WHITE RIVER — Five players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 2 White River to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Nic Marshall poured in 36 points, to go along with six rebounds, four assists and five steals. Jordan Uhlir added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Mackenzie Wike had 12 points, while Teagen Bouman and Evastine Wright scored 10 points apiece. Ray Crow scored five points. 

Wall’s Teeland Kjerstad finished with 18 points. Dawson Handcock logged 12 points and Brodi Sundall had 11 points and seven rebounds. Jace Mohr had 10 points, while Emmet Dinger had three points and seven rebounds. 


Lakota Tech 74, Todd County 51

PINE RIDGE — Lakota Tech pulled away from Todd County for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Lakota Tech’s Riley Casey finished with a game-high 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. Gilbert White Jr., had 11 points, six assists and five rebounds. Julian Tonche scored 10 points and collected six rebounds. Treyton Sam had nine points and three assists. Mackenzie Cass scored eight points. Michael Yankton finished with six points and Ethan Steele logged five points 

Todd County’s Roger Roether had 13 points. Drake Espinoza scored nine points. Ty Valandra and Wakinyan Sa Selwyn scored six points apiece. Kendrik and Chris Ellert scored five points apiece. 

 

Hanson 66, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 60

MOUNT VERNON --- Jayce Slaba and Isayah Price recorded double-doubles to power Hanson to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Slaba finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Price posted 16 points and six rebounds.

Hanson's Zach Baker scored 18 points and Tyce Feistner logged 15 points. 


Marty 71, Burke 65

BURKE — Tate Elk Soldier poured in 35 points to pace Marty to a boys basketball win on Thursday. 

Elk Soldier nailed seven 3-pointers during the 35-point performance. Kris Meeter finished with 12 points and Terrill Rave added eight points. Avander Galvin had seven points. 

Burke’s Reed Benter netted 20 points, while Quinten Bull scored 14 points. Bryce Bartling had 10 points. Gentry Barling added nine points. 


Leola-Frederick Area 49, Warner 36

WARNER — Leola-Frederick held off Warner for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Leola-Frederick Area’s Noah Kippley finished with 18 points and Brayden Sumption scored 12 points. Milo Sumption added 11 points. 

Warner’s Brodey Sauerwein scored 14 points. Gavin Lane logged nine points, while Drew Bakeberg and Zach Evans scored five points apiece.
