Mitchell 59, Brandon Valley 54

MITCHELL — Four players scored in double figures as Class AA No. 1 Mitchell clipped Class AA No. 3 Brandon Valley for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mitchell’s Markus Talley had 15 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Colton Smith scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and had five assists. Gavin Soukup logged 15 points and five rebounds. Parker Mandel had 10 points. 

Brandon Valley’s Hayden Anderson logged 12 points and four rebounds. Aiden Zerr posted 10 points and four rebounds. Brayden Miller had nine points. Josh Olthoff had eight points, six rebounds and four assists. Briggs Knutson posted eight points. Landon Dulaney added seven points, five rebounds and four assists. 


Huron 58, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 55

HURON — Huron edged Sioux Falls O’Gorman for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Huron’s Blake Ellwein logged 22 points and four rebounds. Anderson Porisch added 15 points and seven rebounds. Gavin Moeding logged eight points and four assists.

O’Gorman’s Austin Terveen had 15 points. Ryland Satter posted 12 points and four rebounds. Taten Mauney added 11 points and four rebounds. Nyun Dut had eight points. Caleb Terveen posted five points and four rebounds. Hayden Groos logged five assists and seven rebounds. 


Harrisburg 73, Marshall, Minn., 49

HARRISBURG — Four players scored in double figures to pace Class AA No. 2 Harrisburg to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Jacoby Mehrman and Braeden VanBockern scored 19 points apiece. Cam Phipps added 17 points. 


Watertown 63, Yankton 58 

YANKTON — Watertown’s balanced scoring attack offset Yankton’s Landon Pitts 40-point performance in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Watertown’s Dylon Rawdon logged 15 points and seven assists. Caden Beauchamp had 11 points, four assists and four rebounds. Jake Olson recorded 12 points and six rebounds. Kohen Kranz added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists. Will Engtrom had 10 points.

Pitts finished 14 of 22 from the field and 8 of 14 from the 3-point line, while also dishing out 10 assists and collecting five rebounds. Tucker Gilmore scored seven points, while Matthew Sheldon had six points and six rebounds. Carson Ness had five points and five assists.
