Wall 70, Kadoka Area 56

WALL — Wall’s Emmet Dinger powered Wall to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Dinger poured in 32 points and hit five 3-pointers. Teelan Kjerstad scored 10 points and Austin Kjerstad had eight points. Jace Mohr and Trevor Schulz added seven points apiece. 

For Kadoka Area, Gus Stout scored 21 points and Riley Running Enemy had 13 points. Kole Hermann had eight points and Jared Nemecek finished with six points. Karson Eisenbraun posted five points.


Flandreau 51, Deubrook Area 41

FLANDREAU — Alfie Henderson and Paul Parsley powered Flandreau to a boys basketball victory over Deubrook Area Monday.

Henderson tallied a game-high 18 points while Parsley added 13 points and five rebounds in the win.

DA’s Isaac Gass tallied 13 points while Chance Schonefeld had 12 points in the loss.


Gayville-Volin 61, Avon 51

AVON — Spencer Karsten’s 35-point burst powered Gayville-Volin to a boys basketball victory Monday.

Karstens finished with 35 points, seven rebounds and five steals, Nate Selchert tallied 10 points  while Hunter Wuebben tallied nine points in the win.

Avon’s Aziah Meyer had 21 points while Al’Shamon Gunter totaled 11 points in the loss.


Madison 65, Milbank 39

MILBANK — Ben Brooks dropped 23 points in Madison’s win over Milbank Monday in high school boys basketball action.

Brooks led the Bulldogs with 23 points, eight boards, three assists and three 3-pointers, Myles Schneider tallied 15 points and six rebounds, Henry Veenhof had 10 points while Nolan Neilsen added seven points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Milbank’s Graham Lightfield and Emmett Hanson finished with nine points apiece. Sam Rick scored seven points.


Centerville 79, Mitchell Christian 52

CENTERVILLE — Miles Eide dropped 22 points in Centerville’s win over Mitchell Christian in boys basketball action Monday.

Eide finished with 22 points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists, Alec Austin had 12 points and seven rebounds, Aiden Bobzin totaled 10 points, five steals, two rebounds, two blocks and two assists, Corbin Tople had 10 points and four boards while Jase Brouwer had eight points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Mitchell Christian’s Luke Mentele had 17 points, Brady Asbenson tallied 13 points while Micah Menning had nine points in the loss.


Aberdeen Christian 64, Redfield 48

REDFIELD — Brooks Jett tallied 20 points in Aberdeen Christian’s win over Redfield Monday.

Jett tallied 20 points and six rebounds, Ethan Biel added 16 points, Luke Kaiser recorded 13 points while Jett Johnson totaled seven points in the win.

Redfield’s Rueben Alvarez poured in 33 points in the loss.


West Central 61, Elk Point-Jefferson 35

HARTFORD — Connor Mebius and Will Kuhl combined for 36 points in Class A No. 4 West Central’s win over Elk Point-Jefferson Monday.

Mebius finished with 20 points, five rebounds and five steals, Kuhl added 16 points and two steals while Luke Knight brought down seven boards in the win.

EPJ’s Chase Swanson led all scorers with 14 points.


Vermillion 71, Canton 39

VERMILLION — Four players scored in double figures during Vermillion’s boys basketball victory over Canton Monday.

Trey Hansen led the Tanagers with 19 points and six rebounds, Carter Hansen had 10 points, six steals and five assists, Luke Jensen recorded 10 points and five boards while Gabe Larsen totaled 10 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Canton’s Alex Rhead led the C-Hawks with 17 points in the loss.
