Bridgewater-Emery 55, Ethan 43

ETHAN — Bridgewater-Emery pulled away from Ethan for a Region 3B boys basketball win on Tuesday. 

Bridgewater-Emery’s Camdyn Stoterau scored 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Holden Wollman logged 12 points, while Ben Weber added 11 points. Jaxon Koch scored nine points.

Ethan’s Taite Klumb logged 13 points and Braedon Nebelsick logged 11 points. Jack Bartscher and Drake Gustafson scored seven points apiece. 


Winner 56, Todd County 20 

WINNER — Ryder Halligan and Carter Craven combined for 32 points to pace Winner to a Region 7A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Halligan logged 17 points and three 3-pointers. Craven added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Shawn Hammerbeck logged seven points and 10 rebounds. Aiden Barfuss posted five points. 

Todd County’s Roger Roether scored eight points and three rebounds. Drake Espinoza logged six points and four rebounds. 


Chester 42, Canistota 37

CANISTOTA — Three players reached double-figures as Chester upset Canistota in Region 3B boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Layke Wold drained three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points to lead Chester. Jaxton Opdahl and JD Prorok each scored 10 points for the Fliers. Jovi Wolf had seven points, six rebounds and two assists for Chester. 

Tage Ortman led Canistota with 16 points. Brandon Kjetland had 12 points and 13 rebounds. 


White River 98, Oelrichs 19

WHITE RIVER — White River rolled past Oelrichs for a Region 7B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

White River’s Nic Marshall posted 28 points, 13 assists, eight steals and four rebounds. Jordan Uhlir added 27 points, four rebounds and four steals. Mackenzie Wike and Evastine Wright scored 12 points apiece. Wright added 12 rebounds. Ray Crow scored nine points and four steals.

Oelrichs’ Anthony Warrior scored seven points, while Andre Warrior added six points. 


Lakota Tech 60, Little Wound 54

PINE RIDGE — Three players scored in double figures as Lakota Tech won a Region 7A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Lakota Tech’s Gavin White netted 26 points, recorded five steals and hit three 3-pointers. Julian Tonche posted 11 points. Mackenzie Cass added 10 points and five rebounds. Riley Casey logged nine points, seven rebounds and five assists. Michael Yankton grabbed eight rebounds. 


Howard 73, Mitchell Christian 35

HOWARD — Howard coasted past Mitchell Christian for a Region 3B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Howard’s Luke Koepsell logged 19 points while Colby Claussen added 11 points. Logan Mentele and Kolt Koepsell posted nine points apiece. Carson Hinker had eight points and Taiden Hoyer scored six points. Austin Severson scored five points.

Mitchell Christian’s Aiden Lieber tossed in a game-high 25 points. Syver Enga scored five points. 


Viborg-Hurley 79, Scotland 29

VIBORG — A balanced scoring attack helped Viborg-Hurley run past Scotland in Region 4B boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Bryson Morrison led Viborg-Hurley with 17 points, four rebounds and two assists. Braydyn Morrison added 15 points while Nick Hanson and Nolan Kolthoff each scored nine points. 

Jace Walloch paced Scotland with 13 points, two rebounds and two assists. 


Castlewood 73, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 43

CASTLEWOOD — Three players scored in double figures to pace Castlewood to a Region 2B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Castlewood’s Jamison Keszler logged 19 points, while Bryon Laue added 15 points. Lane Tvedt scored 14 points. Quincy Thu had nine points and Bowen Ryan scored six points.

ORR’s Boyd Pooler posted 13 points and Caden Hojer added 10 points. Brayden Hanson logged seven points. 


Highmore-Harrold 39, Ipswich 31

IPSWICH — A big night from Trake Cowan helped Highmore-Harrold pick up a road win in Region 6B action Tuesday. 

Cowan powered Highmore-Harrold with 19 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots. Carson Stephenson added eight points, three rebounds, three assists and four steals. Aiden Ferens chipped in with five points. 

Jace Konsor paced Ipswich with14 points while Tucker Kadlec had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers. 


Faulkton Area 61, Herried-Selby Area 35

FAULKTON — Three players scored in double-figures as Faulkton Area raced past Herried-Selby Area earning a Region 6B boys basketball win Tuesday. 

Charlie Dieter paced Faulkton Area with 14 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Layne Cotton added 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Gian DiMaria chipped in with 13 points, two assists and two steals. 

Trevor Gill led Herreid-Selby with 12 points and seven rebounds. 


Leola-Frederick Area 70, Wilmot 41

FREDERICK — Leola-Frederick cruised past Wilmot for a Region 1B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Leola-Frederick Area’s Noah Kippley logged 21 points, while Brayden Sumption scored 14 points. Jace Thorpe posted nine points and Gavin Nickelson scored eight points. Milo Sumption and Winston Clark scored five points apiece. 

Wilmot’s Keitrick Genia scored 12 points and Zane Owen had eight points. 


Jones County 67, Crazy Horse 43

MURDO — Cooper Feddersen’s big night helped Jones County race past Crazy Horse in Region 7B action Tuesday. 

Feddersen had 23 points and 23 rebounds. Kaden Kinsley added 12 points and 10 assists. Gunnar Whitney added 11 points while Jace Nix and Bryer Kinsley combined to score 13 points. 

DeVaughn Between Lodgers led Crazy Horse with 18 points. Falcon Quiver added 12 points for the Chiefs. 

 

Parkston 68, Kimball/White Lake 56

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double figures to power Parkston to a Region 5A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Parkston’s Brycen Bruening logged 22 points, while James Deckert added 17 points and nine rebounds. Will Jodozi had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Brayden Jervik had five assists.

KWL’s Blake Leiferman finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Park Sinclair added 14 points, while Nathan Mohnen had five rebounds. 


Milbank 57, Sisseton 32

MILBANK — The Milbank Bulldogs picked up a Region 1A victory over Sisseton in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Garrett Mertens led Milbank with 20 points and three assists. Joe Schulte added 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. 

Christian Shepherd led Sisseton with 14 points while Ethan DeSpieger chipped in with seven points.


Tiospa Zina 71, Webster Area 53

MILBANK — Four players reached double-figure scoring as Tiospa Zina ran past Webster Area for a Region 1B boys basketball win Tuesday. 

Carvin Fish led the Wambdi with 20 points, five rebounds and two assists. Storm Sierra and Johnny Rivers each scored 13 points and combined for 11 rebounds. Nate Thompson added 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. 

Matthew Mount led Webster Area with 25 points and four rebounds. Ian Lesnar added 12 points and six rebounds. 


Gayville-Volin 73, Alcester-Hudson 71

ALCESTER —- Three players reached double-figure scoring as Gayville-Volin slipped past Alcester-Hudson in Region 4B action Tuesday night. 

Spencer Karstens led Gayville-Volin with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Will Pirak scored 16 points and Will Fairley chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds. 

Dominic Van Egdom led Alcester-Hudson with 16 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. Evan Haak added 17 points while Ethan Bovill scored 13 points and had four rebounds. 


Flandreau 62, Estelline/Hendricks 44

FLANDREAU — Flandreau rolled past Estelline/Hendricks to pick up a Region 2B boys basketball win over Estelline/Hendricks. 

Luke Sheppard powered the Flyers with 20 points and nine rebounds. Paul Parsley added 14 points and six rebounds while Micah Otto chipped in with 11 points. 

Kyler Carlson paced Estelline/Hendricks with 10 points and Wyat James chipped in with nine points. 


De Smet 72, Arlington 34

DE SMET — De Smet rolled past Arlington for a Region 2B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

De Smet’s Tom Aughenbaugh logged 21 points and hit five 3-pointers. Kadyn Fast added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists. George Jensen logged seven points and five rebounds. Trace VanRegenmorter had five points and eight rebounds. Britt Carlson scored six points. Tristan Olson and Grant Wilkinson scored eight points apiece. Edger Wilkinson scored five points.

Arlington’s Paxton Rheault scored 19 points and hit three 3-pointers. Miles Antonen posted four points and five rebounds. 


Dakota Valley 87, Parker 51

NORTH SIOUX CITY — BIg games from Jaxson Wingert and Logan Collette helped Dakota Valley race past Parker in Region 4A action Tuesday. 

Wingert poured in 34 points and added six rebounds for the Panthers. Colette made seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points for Dakota Valley. Luke Bruns added 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. 

Stats for Parker were not reported. 


Vermillion 77, Elk Point-Jefferson 70 (OT)

VERMILLION — Vermillion outlasted Elk Point-Jefferson for an overtime Region 4A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen poured in 40 points, to go along with six steals. Carter Hansen added 14 points and 12 rebounds. Bryson Skogsberg had nine points, six rebounds and four steals. Zoan Robinson had eight points and four rebounds. Cole Tweten posted six points and five rebounds. 

EPJ’s Evan Fornia logged 16 points and six rebounds. Reed Sayler had 15 points and five rebounds. Garrett Merkley logged 13 points, while Kayden Moore had 10 points and five assists. 

 

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 73, Miller 59

EAGLE BUTTE — Cheyenne-Eagle Butte used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a Region 6A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

CEB’s Damien Clown logged 23 points and hit five 3-pointers. Dayson Kennedy added 13 points, while Austin Johnson scored 10 points. Levi Elk Nation and Easton Lawrence logged nine points apiece. 

Miller stats were not reported. 

 

Stanley County 67, Crow Creek 63

EAGLE BUTTE — Stanley County clipped Crow Creek for a Region 6A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Stanley County’s Broch Zeeb scored 24 points, while Paxton Deal added 21 points. Eddie Duffy scored 10 points and Brendon Bothwell had six points. 

Crow Creek’s Kiron Thompson netted 17 points, while Lance Wind Jr., scored 13 points. Josiah Kirkie added nine points and Mickael Bernard posted seven points. Oscar Walking Bull scored five points. 


Mobridge-Pollock 62, Dupree 45

MCLAUGHLIN — Mobridge-Pollock pulled away from Dupree for a Region 6A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Michael Wald scored 17 points and hit five 3-pointers. Shane Henderson recorded 16 points. Kale Knudson added 11 points, while Easton Eisemann posted nine points. Jackson Eisemann scored seven points.

For Dupree, Elijah Brewer and Jayden Marshall scored 10 points apiece. Tre White Wolf added nine points and Kingslee Parker scored six points. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 69, Colman-Egan 50 

DELL RAPIDS — Three players scored in double figures as Dell Rapids St. Mary picked up a Region 3B boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Nic Gaspar logged 20 points and 12 rebounds. Maverick LeBrun added 19 points and 15 rebounds. Trevon Beckman posted 15 points and 10 boards. Trimmier Hanson had nine points.

Colman-Egan’s Jase Mousel had 19 points. 


Hamlin 79, Florence-Henry 36

HAYTI — Easton Neuendorf tossed in 30 points to power Hamlin to a Region 2A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Neuendorf hit six of Hamlin’s 12 3-pointers. Evan Stormo added 13 points and hit three 3-pointers. Tyson Stevenson scored 10 points. Zac VanMeeteren scored eight points, while Jackson Wadsworth and Dawson Noem had six points apiece.

Florence-Henry’s Ty Bergh logged 11 points. James Schroeder scored eight points and Logan Vavruska had five points. 

 

Tea Area 73, Canton 54

TEA — Sam Almas and Marshall Smythe combined for 42 points to pace Tea Area to a Region 4A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Almas logged 22 points, six rebounds and five 3-pointers. Smythe posted 20 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Grif Wiebenga had 12 points, while Boston Willemssen added eight points and six rebounds. Jessen Wiebenga had four points and seven rebounds. 

Canton’s Braxton Mulder finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Matt Anderson added 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Julius Moore recorded 10 points. Ryan Kuper and Aidan Jutting scored six points apiece.

West Central 62, Madison 52 (OT)

HARTFORD — West Central outlased Madison in an overtime Region 3A boys basketball win on Tuesday.

West Central’s Crew Heier logged 27 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Jake Kuhl posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Paden Schulte scored eight points, five rebounds and three steals.

Madison’s Ben Brooks scored 18 points. 


Rapid City Christian 77, Lead-Deadwood 37

RAPID CITY — Four players reached double-figures as Rapid City Christian raced past Lead-Deadwood in Region 8B action Tuesday. 

Julius Frog led the Comets with 16 points. Aiden Roberts added 14 points and Wes Schlabach pumped in 14 points. Simon Kieffer chipped in with 10 points. 

Jaxon Burleson led Lead Deadwood with 11 pts. Beau Witcherman added seven points.
