Hamlin 80, Sioux Valley 48

HAYTI — Class A No. 2 Hamlin coasted past Class A No. 4 Sioux Valley for a boys basketball win on Monday. 

Hamlin’s Easton Neuendorf netted 20 points. Evan Stormo and Jackson Wadsworth recorded 19 points apiece. Tyson Stevenson had 11 points. 

Sioux Valley’s Maxwell Engebretson scored 17 points and Maverick Nelson scored 13 points. Alec Squires added seven points.

Mitchell Christian 82, Sunshine Bible Academy 54

MILLER — Big nights from Aiden Lieber and Luke Mentele helped Mitchell Christian defeat Sunshine BIble Academy in boys basketball action Monday. 

Lieber poured in 43 points to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists and six steals. Mentele finished with 24 points, three rebounds and four assists. Joseph Tegethoff chipped in with seven points, five rebounds and four steals. 

Trey Thieman led Sunshine Bible Academy with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Jerome Big Eagle added 15 points and seven rebounds. 


Centerville 74, Irene-Wakonda 42

CENTERVILLE — Four players scored in double figures to pace Centerville to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Centerville’s Miles Eide scored a game-high 22 points. Aiden Bobzin logged 16 points, while Brennan Tople scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds. Cole Edberg added 10 points and seven rebounds. Tucker Martz scored six points.

Irene-Wakonda’s Noah Hansen scored 10 points. Jens Hansen added eight points. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 80, Arlington 49 

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids St. Mary used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a boys basketball win over Arlington on Monday.

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Maverick LeBrun logged 26 points, while Trevon Beckman added 18 points. Trimmier Hanson scored 17 points.

Riley Miller led Arlington with 15 points. 


Leola-Frederick Area 71, Ellendale, N.D., 59 

ELLENDALE, N.D. — Three players scored in double figures to pace Leola-Frederick Area to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Noah Kippley finished with 25 points, while Ethan Petrich scored 11 points. Brayden Sumption added 10 points. 


Tea Area 62, Canton 40 

TEA — Jessen Wiebenga and Sam Almas combined to score 32 points to pace Tea Area to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Wiebenga finished with 21 points, five rebounds and four 3-pointers. Almas added 11 points and five rebounds. Garrett Wiebenga had eight points. Boston Willemssen and Marshall Smythe scored six points apiece. Willemsen had eight rebounds and Smythe added six boards.

Canton’s Matt Anderson finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Dagim Mesfin recorded nine points, while Braxton Mulder had eight points and five rebounds. Julius Moore scored six points. 


Baltic 68, Colman-Egan 38

COLMAN — Jack Erickson powered Baltic to a boys basketball win over Colman-Egan on Monday.

Erickson finished with 34 points and four rebounds. Kellen Artz logged 11 points and nine rebounds. Dylan Runestad scored seven points, while Beau Breece logged six points and eight boards. Blake Hookie and Mark Ditter grabbed six rebounds apiece.

Colman-Egan’s Jackson Zwart recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds and three rebounds. Jase Mousel posted 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jack Mousel grabbed five rebounds.
