Pine Ridge 69, White River 58 

WHITE RIVER — Class A No. 3 Pine Ridge held off Class B No. 1 White River for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Pine Ridge’s Marvin Richard III tossed in a team-high 29 points and hit three 3-pointers. Kanye Hollow Horn recorded 18 points and five boards. Jaylin Rouillard posted 13 points and hit three 3-pointers. Anthony Steele finished with seven points. 

White River’s Nic Marshall netted a team-high 29 points and added six assists. Evastine Wright and Jordan Uhlir scored eight points apiece. Ray Crow scored six points and Teagen Bouman had five points. Uhlir had 10 rebounds. 


Rapid City Christian 81, Belle Fourche 28

BELLE FOURCHE — Five players scored in double figures to pace Rapid City Christian to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Rapid City Christian’s Benson Kieffer scored 17 points and Wes Schlabach had 14 points. Simon Kieffer added 13 points, while Julius Frog scored 12 points. Aiden Roberts posted 10 points.

Belle Fourche’s Carter McKenna scored eight points and Sern Weishaar chipped in seven points. 


Hanson 69, Freeman 54

ALEXANDRIA —- Three players scored in double figures to pace Hanson to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Jayce Slaba finished with 24 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Ben Wilber and A.J. Wilber scored 17 and 10 points, respectively. Isayah Price added seven points and eight boards. 

Freeman’s Rocky Ammann had 17 Points. Tate Sorensen recorded nine points and nine rebounds. 


Castlewood 68, Florence-Henry 56

CASTLEWOOD — Jamison Keszler and Lane Tvedt combined for 45 points to pace Class B No. 2 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Tvedt finished with 23 points, while Keszler had 22 points. Brody Bass posted 11 points and nine rebounds. Luke Baumberger had nine points. Quincy Thu added 10 rebounds and three points.

Florence-Henry’s Carson Vavruska and Ty Bergh scored 16 points apiece. Logan Vavruska and Logan Koll scored 11 points apiece. 


De Smet 50, Flandreau 29

DE SMET — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 3 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

De Smet’s Kadyn Fast finished with 14 points. Tom Aughenbaugh and Grant Wilkinson scored 10 points apiece. Wilkinson added seven rebounds. Trace VanRegenmorter posted five points and 12 rebounds. Britt Carlson had six points, while George Jensen had five points and four rebounds. 

Flandreau’s Paul Parsley had 11 points and eight rebounds. Luke Sheppard added nine points and five rebounds. 


Winner 64, St. Francis 52

ST. FRANCIS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Winner to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Aiden Barfuss finished with 20 points and five assists. Shawn Hammerbeck had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Carter Craven and Ryder Halligan scored 10 points apiece.

Colman-Egan 67, Wilmot 57

COLMAN — Four players scored in double figures to pace Colman-Egan to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Colman-Egan’s Jack Mousel recorded 21 points and eight rebounds. Jase Mousel recorded 20 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson Zwart finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Taylor Kriech had 10 points, four rebounds and three rebounds. 

Wilmot’s Keitrick Genia had 16 points and five rebounds. Maddux Foss had 12 points. Zane Owen added nine points and 10 rebounds. Ethan Schwenn logged six points and six boards. Taedon Muilenburg had five points and seven rebounds. Carson Jurgens had five points. 


Viborg-Hurley 68, Parker 51

PARKER — Nick Hanson powered Class B No. 4 Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Hanson finished with a game-high 32 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Nolan Kolthoff and Jake Austin scored seven points apiece. Owen Niederbaumer had 10 rebounds and eight points. Bryson Morrison logged eight points.

Parkston 75, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 64

FORESTBURG — Parkston picked up a boys basketball win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday.

SCW’s Jeff Boschee finished with 24 points and six assists. Bryce Larson added 14 points. Cody Slykhuis had nine points, while Trey Moody scored eight points and had seven rebounds. Payton Uecker posted six points. 

Parkston stats were not reported. 


Canistota 81, Menno 34

MENNO — Four players scored in double figures to pace Canistota to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Canistota’s Tage Ortman finished with 26 points, six assists and five steals. Brandon Kjetland logged 14 points and eight rebounds. Levin Schroeder recorded 11 points and eight rebounds. Jaden Kleinsasser posted 10 points and nine rebounds.

Menno’s Izayah Ulmer had 11 points. Isaac Fergen finished with 10 points and four rebounds. 


Chester 71, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 51

CHESTER — Three players scored in double-figures as Chester cruised to a win over Oldham-Ramona-Rutland in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Jovi Wolf led Chester with 24 points and seven rebounds. Layke Wold added 11 points and nine assists. JD Prorok chipped in with 190 points and nine rebounds. 

Caden Hojer led Oldham-Ramona-Rutland with 19 points and nine rebounds. Cooper Meragor added 16 points and seven rebounds. 


Madison 66, McCook Central/Montrose 35

MONTROSE — Ben Brooks and Andrew Comes paced Madison to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Brooks finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Comes added 10 points and five rebounds.

MCM’s Jackson Schmidt and Ben Wiebersick scored five points apiece. 


Dakota Valley 75, Vermillion 65

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Four players scored in double-figures as Class A No. 5 Dakota Valley ran past Vermilion in high school boys basketball action Friday. 

Jaxson Wingert led Dakota Valley with 27 points and three rebounds. Logan Collette added 14 points, four rebounds and three assists. Luke Bruns and Charlie Margeas each scored 12 points for Dakota Valley. 

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen posted 19 points and 12 rebounds. Zoan Robinson had 16 points and Carter Hansen posted 15 points. 


Aberdeen Christian 67, Ipswich 63

IPSWICH — Four players scored in double figures to pace Aberdeen Christian to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Aberdeen Christian’s Becker Bosma logged 24 points, five 3-pointers and four steals. Jett Johnson had 18 points and seven rebounds. Brooks Jett added 11 points and five rebounds. Ellis Russell logged 10 points and seven assists.

Ipswich’s Jace Konsor had 24 points, eight 3-pointers and seven assists. Chet Peterson posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Trevor Heinz had 10 points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. The Tigers nailed 13 3-pointers. 


Sioux Valley 69, Deuel 36

CLEAR LAKE — Class A No. 4 Sioux Valley pulled away from Deuel for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Sioux Valley’s Maxwell ​​Engebretson scored 20 points. Alec Squires finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jace Christensen, Maverick Nelson and Hudsyn Ruesink scored seven points apiece. Boden Schiller and Brock Christopherson scored five points apiece. 

Deuel’s Troy Jenson scored 12 points and Trey Maaland added 11 points. Kyle Finnesand scored six points and Jaxon Peterreins scored five points. 


Dell Rapids 64, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 39 

MOUNT VERNON — Dell Rapids pulled away from Mount Vernon/Plankinton for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

MVP’s Zach Baker had 18 points, five rebounds and four steals. Blaine Bohr had seven points. Tyce Feistner and Devin Rihanek scored six points apiece.

Dell Rapids stats were not reported. 


Faulkton Area 59, Potter County 57

GETTYSBURG — A balanced scoring attack helped Faulkton Area slip past Potter County in boys basketball action Tuesday. 

Carley Cotton powered Faulkton Area with 21 points, five rebounds and five steals. Presleigh Martinmaas added ten points and six rebounds. Olivia Hadrick with nine points and Kelli Stoecker with eight points also contributed. 

Kayden Cronin paced Potter County with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Zoe Meinke added 10 points while Olivia Mikkelsen chipped in with nine points. 


Mitchell 68, Aberdeen Central 56

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Class AA No. 1 Mitchell to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Markus Talley led the way with 21 points and eight rebounds. Colton Smith added 15 points and 10 boards. Gavin Soukup posted 15 points and three rebounds. Parker Mandel had eight points, while Gavin Hinker posted six points and five rebounds.

Aberdeen Central’s Parker Lemer finished with 14 points and four assists. Grant Fritz added 14 points and five rebounds. Brendan Phillips had 11 points and three 3-pointers. Jett Carlson had eight points and five rebounds. Camden Fauth had five points. 


Huron 50, Pierre 46

HURON — Huron held off Pierre for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Huron’s Blake Ellwein finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Anderson Porisch posted 12 points and eight boards. Gavin Moeding had seven points, while C.J. Gainey had five points and five assists.

Pierre’s Luke Olson recorded 13 points and six rebounds. Jett Zabel logged 12 points and eight rebounds. Cade Kaiser and Dawson Getz scored seven points apiece. Miles Doyle had five points. 


Sioux Falls Lincoln 69, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 58

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Falls Lincoln to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. The Patriots nailed 12 3-pointers. 

Lincoln’s Tate Schafer scored 24 points and hit four 3-pointers. Sam Ericsson had 18 points on six 3-pointers. Sam DeGroot added 11 points. Edison Noll recorded eight points and four rebounds. Braxton Mohr logged six points and five rebounds.

O’Gorman’s Austin Terveen recorded 16 points. Jackson Bjorkman added 10 points. Taten Mauney logged seven points, five assists and four rebounds. Nyun Dut had six points. Hayden Groos and Caleb Terveen scored five points apiece.
