BRANDON — The Harrisburg Tigers knocked off Brandon Valley to win Friday’s Region 2A wrestling title in Brandon. 

The Tigers scored 237.5 points, ahead of Brandon Valley (226) and Sioux Falls Lincoln (159). Yankton (148.5) and Sioux Falls Washington (126.5) rounded out the top five teams. 

Region champions for Harrisburg were Ivan Johnson (113), Myles Kettwig (120) and Steven Lamont (138). 

Champions for Brandon Valley were Brendon Oehme (126), Braden Shoemaker (144), Levi Veskma (165) and Elijah Schunke (215).

Other region championships went to Beresford/Alcester-Hudson athletes Owen Serck (106) and Dexton Miller (132), Lennox’s Ramsey WIlliams (150), Yankton’s Shayce Platt (157), Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Joseph Tunge (175), Sioux Falls Washington’s Lane Knutson (190) and Yankton’s Edly Amaro (285).
