SIOUX FALLS -- Sioux Falls O’Gorman swept Brandon Valley in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-21 and 25-22.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton 3, Miller 2

MILLER -- Mount Vernon/Plankinton edged Miller in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 26-24 and 15-12.

Maria Baker led the Titans with 12 kills, three aces and one block. Shyla Tobin added 31 assists and Jocelyn Manzano had 27 digs. 

For Miller, Patricia Lammers finished with 14 kills, while Abigail Blake had 11 kills and two aces. Blake added four solo blocks. Jaden Werdel and Ally Mullaney finished with 10 kills apiece. Tyra Gates logged 51 assists and 19 digs. Cynthia Ford had 31 digs and one ace. Payton Kilker added 17 digs. 

Northwestern 3, Aberdeen Christian 1

MELLETTE -- Northwestern picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Aberdeen Christian on Tuesday. The set scores were 30-28, 22-25, 25-14 and 25-6.

Northwestern coach Nora Groft also earned her 600th career coaching victory. She’s now 600-75. 

Ella Haven finished with 24 kills, 13 digs and four aces. Emma Grandpre finished with 10 kills, while Brooklinn Halvorson added 39 assists and five aces. Haiden Grandpre posted eight kills. Teryn Sparling logged four aces. 

For Aberdeen Christian, Mary Fites had 13 kills and two aces. Hanna Miller logged seven kills and one block. Joy Rohrbach registered 19 digs and two aces. Kaylee Block logged seven digs and 16 assists. Mallory Miller had two blocks. 


Chester Area 3, Tri-Valley 0

CHESTER -- Chester Area swept Tri-Valley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-9 and 25-14.

Breckyn Ewoldt led the Fliers with 10 kills and four aces. Jayda Kenyon posted nine kills. Carly Becker and Lily VanHal had 17 assists apiece. VanHal added 12 digs. Emery Larson logged 20 digs. Ashlyn Bleeker added two blocks. 

For Tri-Valley, Ava Pearson and Madelyn Wenzel had two kills apiece. Brooklyn Steiben and Nevaeh Grann had five and four assists, respectively. Steiben had seven digs, while Megan Wenzel added three blocks and one ace. Hannah West posted three digs.

WINNER -- Winner swept Gregory in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-13, 25-23 and 25-23.

Ellie Brozik led Winner with 12 kills, eight assists, 19 digs and three aces. Libbie Petersek posted 10 kills, while Lexi Klein had 13 assists. Skyler Hansen added 13 digs and two blocks.

For Gregory, Jessy Jo VanDerWerff had six kills and 20 digs. Brooklyn VanDerWerff added five kills and eight assists. Gracie Kenzy had 10 assists, while Mya Determan posted six aces. Cassidy Keiser finished with four block assists. 


Warner 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 0

TULARE -- Warner defeated Hitchcock-Tulare in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 28-26, 25-10 and 25-8.

Jennifer Aman posted 11 kills and recorded her 1,000th career kill. Kyra Marcuson had 11 kills, while Ava Nilsson added 25 assists. Peyton Fisher and Courtney Bjorgaard had two aces apiece, while Bjorgaard had 11 digs. Kiah Koch added seven digs and Nilsson had three block assists.

For Hitchcock-Tulare, Katelyn Schroeder posted 12 digs, seven kills, three aces and one block. Ella Johnson logged three kills, while Shandi Chasing Hawk added 10 assists. Madison Hofer finished with 11 digs and Danielle Nowell had two aces. 


Estelline/Hendricks 3, Waverly-South Shore 0

ESTELLINE -- Estelline/Hendricks swept Waverly-South Shore in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-17, 25-7 and 25-5.

Kenzy Beare led Estelline/Hendricks with nine kills, four aces and two blocks. Sadie Johnson logged 27 assists, 11 digs and 10 aces. Kate Wegner added four aces, eight kills and 13 digs. Brooke Johnson added four kills and 10 digs.

For WSS, Bridget Eschen had three kills. Emily Heuer added three aces and Emily Heuer finished with seven assists. Kaelyn Williams had eight digs. 


McCook Central/Montrose 3, Howard 0

HOWARD -- McCook Central/Montrose swept Howard in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-21, 25-16 and 25-12.

Michaela McCormick led MCM with 11 kills, 14 digs and five aces. Brandy Pulse posted seven kills. Brianna Even added 26 assists, while Abby Roling recorded two aces and 20 digs. Tayah McGregor logged seven blocks.

For Howard, Aleya Kizer finished with seven kills and Piper Thompson logged six kills. Emma Rudebusch had 10 assists, while Rylee Rudebusch logged 16 digs and eight assists. Katlin Schlim had three aces and 12 digs. Ciana Schwader added two blocks. 


Wagner 3, Scotland 0

WAGNER -- Wagner swept Scotland in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-9, 25-15 and 25-17.

Emma Yost led Wagner with 12 digs and nine kills. Avari Bruguier added eight kills, nine digs and three blocks. Shona Kocer put down seven kills. Shalayne Nagel logged nine digs and three blocks. Macy Koupal posted 35 assists and three aces. Madi Knebel had three digs and Kya Kjeldgaard added five blocks. 

For Scotland, Trinity Bietz recorded six kills and one block. Martina DeBoer had five kills, three digs and two blocks. Delanie VanDriel finished with four kills and one ace. Rylee Conrad recorded 14 assists and two digs. 


Hamlin 3, Sioux Valley 2

VOLGA -- Hamlin outlasted Sioux Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 16-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-23 and 15-11.

Ally Abraham led the Chargers with 16 kills, six digs and three block assists. Gracelyn Leiseth finished with 14 kills and three block assists. Grace Everson and Kami Wadsworth had 18 assists apiece. Addison Neuendorf finished with 34 digs and four aces, while Alyssa West posted 20 digs. Everson had 13 digs, Lily Smith posted 11 digs and Wadsworth finished with 10 digs. 

For Sioux Valley, Kaedyn Sapp finished with 18 kills, while Reagan Johnson had two aces, 15 kills and 22 digs. Ashley Bjerke finished with two aces, seven kills and 11 digs. Kasey Pistulka added 39 digs and Talya Vincent added 16 digs. Julia Steffensen had 16 digs. 


Bon Homme 3, Freeman 1

TYNDALL -- Bon Homme topped Freeman in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 22-25, 25-21, 25-12 and 25-18.

Olivia Bures led the Cavaliers with 18 kills, nine digs and four blocks. Jenna Duffek posted eight kills, five digs, three aces and three blocks. Kenadee Kozak logged six kills, seven aces and nine digs. Erin Heusinkveld posted four kills, three blocks and 11 digs. Jaden Kortan notched 31 assists, six digs and three kills. Jurni Vavruska logged eight digs, three kills, three blocks and three aces.

For Freeman, Kate Miller finished with 10 kills and nine digs. Lily Wipf had six kills and seven digs, while Erin Uecker had six kills and four digs. Emily Mendel recorded four kills and 11 digs. Paige Auch notched 28 assists, 16 digs, four aces and two kills. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

ELK POINT -- Elk Point-Jefferson swept Viborg-Hurley in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-21, 25-14 and 25-11.

Natalie Heuertz finished with 10 kills, while Ashley Brewer had nine kills and three blocks. Josie Curry added seven kills and three blocks. Bentlee Kollbaum recorded six kills and 10 digs. Sophia Giorgio had 29 assists and seven digs. Alyssa Chytka notched 22 digs and two aces. Danica Torrez added seven digs and three kills. 

For Viborg-Hurley, Denae Mach logged five kills and 21 digs. Coral Mason had three kills and 15 digs. Delana Mach posted two kills and five digs. Estelle Lee logged 20 digs, while Mataya Vannorsdel added nine assists and four digs. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 1

MILLER -- Sanborn Central/Woonsocket topped Sunshine Bible Academy in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-4, 25-13, 21-25 and 25-14.

Brooke Doering led the Blackhawks with 19 kills, eight digs and one block. Trista White added 14 kills and four aces. Hannah Dickson posted 16 digs and four aces. Teya Moody logged 56 assists, while Ella Evans added four aces. 

Aja Paul posted seven kills and four aces. Sadie Konechne logged five kills, two digs and two blocks. Jakki Burma posted three assists, while Annaliese Van Zee finished with two blocks. 


Leola-Frederick Area 3, North Central 0

LEOLA -- Leola-Frederick Area swept North Central in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-17, 25-13 and 25-11.

Sofi Losure posted 10 kills and one solo block. Alyx Hoffman finished with eight kills, while Jocelynn Ellwein logged 18 assists and two aces. Laura Sumption and Lacey Westphal posted 14 and 12 digs, respectively. Chloe Arneson added three aces. 

For North Central, Sierra Hoffman finished with three kills, two aces and eight digs. Hope Hoerner added three kills and eight digs. Jenisa Jacobs finished with three aces and seven digs. Kaitlyn Hoerner added seven assists. 


Arlington 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE -- Arlington swept Deuel in straight sets in Tuesday volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-19 and 25-22.

Hadley Carlson led Arlington with 18 kills, 13 digs and one block. Natalie Bruns posted eight kills and two aces. Grace Parry finished with five aces and 32 assists. 

For Deuel, Haley Winter posted a team-high 12 kills and two blocks. Darby Koenecke and Josie Andersen had four kills apiece. Alyson Hagberg had 17 assists and 15 digs. Haille Bury finished with 12 digs. Gracie Fieber had six assists. 


Deubrook Area 3, Milbank 2

MILBANK -- Deubrook Area defeated Milbank in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-13, 25-19, 22-25 and 15-3.

Emma Vandermeer finished with 17 kills and 15 digs. Hanna Kjelden posted 12 kills and three block assists. Kyarra Blum and Brooke Koppatschek had 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Koppatschek and Ellie Koenig had 28 and 26 assists, respectively. Blum had a team-high four aces and 16 digs. Miranda Moravetz added 15 digs and two aces. Ellie Koenig and Taylor Ekern had 21 digs apiece. 

For Milbank, Rachel Schulte had 13 kills, 11 digs and three block assists. Skyler Skoog logged 12 kills. Addisyn Krause finished with 19 assists and 23 digs, while Averie Engebretson posted four aces and 15 assists. Hallie Schulte logged 41 digs. 


Garretson 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 0

DELL RAPIDS -- Garretson posted a three-set high school volleyball win over Dell Rapids St. Mary on Tuesday. The scores were 25-9, 25-14 and 25-14.

Lily Ranschau posted nine kills, four digs and two blocks. Logan Bly added five kills and three aces, while Kaylin Koch had four kills. Jadyn Benson finished with 19 assists and seven digs. Alli Gawarecki finished with four aces. Lexi Gawarecki added six digs and Anna Jones had three blocks. 

For Dell Rapids St. Mary, Courtney Brown and Ella Griffin had three kills apiece. Brianna Lindeman had four aces and five assists. Brown, Lindeman, Maya Heinitz and Madala Hanson added five digs apiece.

Lissy Spah led the Titans with 16 kills, while Mara Grant had 10 kills and five blocks. Alyssa Giles finished with three aces and 14 digs. Jillian Huerink added 42 assists. 

For Madison, Megan Schouwenburg had 10 kills. Amanda Vacanti posted six aces and Karley Lurz added two aces. Audrey Nelson had 13 digs and two blocks. Raena Rost added 12 digs and Kylie Krusemark had 25 assists.

SIOUX FALLS -- Sioux Falls Roosevelt swept Sioux Falls Jefferson in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-15, 26-24 and 25-14.

Sioux Falls Jefferson’s Maddie Paulson posted six kills and three blocks. Jaidyn Dunn added three blocks, while Presly Pastian had 18 assists. Cora Hoekstrad added 17 digs and two aces.
